Review titled Brilliant gp surgery
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Caroline Muccarione - Posted on 12 June 2024
I know everyone's experiences are different but I'd just like to say that even though I've only been with Kepier practice for a few weeks in that time I have been treated more like an individual than just a number. I've been listened to and I've never felt judged. One GP came to me which was unexpected but he had some concerns but again I was treated like an individual he listened to me and he advised me accordingly . I couldn't fault him

Review titled Review BP
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Rob - Posted on 23 February 2024
Had a COPD review 2 weeks ago and blood pressure was high +200. Discussed with nurse practitioner, we spoke about diet, my exercises routine etc. Nurse suggested I take another BP tablet as I was already on the maximum Rampril. I explained the suggested tablet I had tried before and had a bad reaction. She spoke to a doctor and we agreed an alternative. the nurse asked me to monitor my BP at home and keep a record. I was very nervous about taking these new tablets. I took the tablets as prescribed and my BP was reduced averaging mid 140s sometimes below the ideal of 135. On some days I had palpitations and had a rash. Today I returned for a review. I was seen by someone I had never seen before. There was no introduction, I did not know if it was a GP or a nurse. I gave them a sheet detailing my morning and evening BPs which they looked at for about 10 seconds. They the said they would increase the dosage. I asked if there was the only option explaining I had on occasions suffered side affects. I also pointed out that my BP had greatly reduced. They appeared annoyed and looked up the side effects and agreed these were possible. I was then told that I was at risk of a stroke but they would note my record that I did not want to increase the dosage. Until today I have always had great experiences at this surgery but today's review and the patronising attitude has left me very upset.

Review titled Excellent ProfessionalTreatment
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by JWelsh - Posted on 12 November 2023
I have recently had appointments with a nurse for blood tests/health checks which resulted in appointments with two GPs as follow up treatment relating to my diagnosis and ongoing care. I can only say how reassured I am by the professional care/advice and empathy given to me by all three practitioners. A massive thank you to you all.
