People complain about their docs but mine are great. Always helpful and considerate of me and today went out of their way to find me alternative solutions to my condition!!

I was contacted by the surgery offering me a shingles vaccination, booking was straightforward and was offered an appointment within a few days. I was seen on time and the nurse was friendly and explained what the vaccine was for and any potential side effects. All was completed in a few minutes.

Over the years I've had plenty to say to the Dr's, nurses, receptionists about great service. A very good practice. One that wants to hear when things aren't so good and strives to improve the service. This is despite awful government funding, a crisis in shortage of drs and nurses. My appointment yesterday was superb. From asking for an appointment I was offered a slot that day, sadly it came at to short notice. I saw a Dr the next day. I'm certain he is a new dr, he was very good. Explained things well, knew what he was talking about. From experience I've seen plenty of negative comments over the last few years about the practice on social media. Sadly many people don't appear to realise delays etc are not the fault of the staff. All to often their complaints are due to poor funding, management of the NHS by the government. Last few years mainly seen nurses for appointments, they've been wonderful, I've expressed my positive comments to them. What with NHS issues, lack of staff, Covid the practice is going from strength to strength now. Thankyou staff at Homewell, Curlew practice.

The dr I saw at a recent appointment was incredibly warm, supportive and helpful. She made me feel very reassured (despite there not being much I can do about my current condition). My thanks to her for her kind and considerate approach at a time of vulnerability.

In a country where I know women are struggling to gain access to HRT, I am so pleased that the Drs at the Homewell practice are so incredibly supportive. From my very first symptoms, I was offered HRT immediately and other advice to support my Perminopausal journey. Since my first contact a year ago, I have recently had my HRT dose increased to combat the ongoing rollercoaster of symptoms and the Drs have been brilliant every step of the way. Thank you to all of the Drs at the Homewell practice for supporting me through the first stages of Menopause, you are all incredible.
