  1. Review titled Excellent patient care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by DUNCAN JEFFERY - Posted on 26 October 2023

I have regular blood tests following radiotherapy for prostate cancer (now in remission). Two recent tests showed PSA levels above the undetectable scores I had been returning. Not only did the GP arrange a appointment with the Chelwest oncology team they also consulted the respected oncologist who had supervised my radiotherapy. He responded with a reassuring explanation. Terrific patient care from my GP surgery.

  2. Review titled Exceptional service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I only ever receive exceptional service from Redcliffe. If you use their Patches online consultancy service you invariably get a response from a GP within 2-3 hours and the problem is sorted with prescriptions sent to your local chemist. It’s a fantastic level of service.

  3. Review titled Exceptional locum midwife

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Anna - Posted on 16 December 2022

We had our 6 week vaccinations at Redcliffe Surgery for our daughter Allegra. Up to this point we’d had numerous experiences with the NHS since her birth. These experiences had been a mixed bag (the north itself was fine), but particularly bad around breastfeeding; the expectations forced upon you (however unrealistic), the support (or lack of at every point), the judgement, and the massively conflicting “advice” (sometimes from midwives who haven't even had children). But the locum midwife made me feel so heard, respected and empowered I actually ended up getting quite emotional. We were there for the vaccinations but I ended up breastfeeding and the conversation naturally went to how I’d been experiencing breastfeeding. She offered such amazing support. She asked questions about how I’ve coped. She put me and the baby at the centre of her advice; not societal pressure or the conflicting evidence we’ve been presented with. She was warm, kind and caring. She was the most inclusive and mother-centred midwife I’ve seen throughout the whole process. She was clearly an experienced midwife and a credit to her profession. Redcliffe Surgery would do well to keep hold of her - she could do so much amazing work for post-natal care which is sadly lacking across the NHS unless you or your baby have acute conditions.

  4. Review titled Rubbish

I was on the phone for 60 minutes and still no one answered. This is an appallingly service. And some of reception staff are so rude to you when they do answer the phone. This is the worst ever surgery I have ever come across.

  5. Review titled The most awful service that I have ever experienced

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Susan Danaher - Posted on 25 October 2022

I have been worried about the so called service that I have received from this practice for some while but the last 24 hours have reached an all-time low. I received a text yesterday to tell me that I had to make an appointment for an ECG with the nurse. I held on the 'phone for 1 hour 9 minutes last evening before giving up( I had to cook our dinner) and this morning, I am 23 minutes into waiting again for somebody ( anybody!) to answer the 'phone. There is something seriously wrong here. If I was properly ill rather than waiting to book an appointment for something which isn't urgent, I would have had to go to our seriously over-stretched A&E department. What is going on? I have now been holding for 27 minutes.
