    My Mum recently received care from Health Care First and although I know this practice amongst the rest get a lot of criticism we cannot fault them for their care from the GP who was involved in her care. She regularly checks in on my Mum until the medication is stabilising the condition. She also listened attentively and respected the decisions we made.

    Called at 8am to speak to doctor I have not been well and been in hospital advised this to the receptionist who advised the doctor would review and call you back. I went to the toilet and passed out when I was back around I tried to call the doctors at 12.50pm they were closed until 2pm called them at 2pm waited for call back then get a text to say I will be called back next day by clinician not a doctor. I just wish they had the pain I have and maybe they would have some empathy abismol service I am now waiting again for a doctor call but as it’s a lady problem more than likely get brushed of again I have loss 2stone in 5wks but it’s not urgent for them to deal with. No point writing this review but it gets it if my chest as no one cares

    Dear Diane, we are sincerely sorry you have experienced issues trying to access services at Health Care First. We welcome all feedback both positive and negative so that we can continually improve were necessary. Some of our sites do close for half a day but our call centre remains open between 8am and 6pm.     In the past I have never had a problem getting an appointment and today was no exception. I called at 8.00 and only waited about 10 mins, spoke to a lovely lady who booked me an appointment for 9.55, I arrived and within 10 mins I was seen and back out with an appointment for an X-ray this afternoon. I’ve been for that and back home. I do not believe even paying privately you would get better service that that. Thank you
