I was triaged and called back by a doctor within an hour for treatment. From the receptionist who booked explained the process to the Dr who called back it was an excellent service throughout. Thank you for what you do.

I have chrones disease and have been advised by the hospital to see a GP urgently today! And the receptionist refused to give an appointment as it’s not urgent! She wouldn’t let me explain that the hospital advised me to be seen today and was extremely rude!

Hawthorns has been our family surgery for years and have always been there when needed. Their appointment system works well, even during the busiest of times and that is reassuring knowing we can see someone when needed.

There has been a marked change in the practice in the last few months. It is much easier to make appointments. Being able to speak directly with the pharmacist or nurses instead of always having to bother a GP first is excellent

Needed a conversation with a clinical pharmacist to adjust my blood pressure medication. Very useful and helpful, using good, non-technical words to explain the options. Clearly factored my past history into the advice.

Took a blood test which was followed up by a call from one of the practice doctors and then an in person appointment. All went smoothly and I felt well looked after. To be fair the pratice has always looked after me well.

I have needed to use the Practice over the years and more so recently and have found all the staff helpful, professional and compassionate and cannot fault the surgery

The pharmacist rang me today to talk through my elderly mother's medication and provided me with a clear explanation of the medicines and arranged to see him to discuss further. Very helpful - thank you.

The clinical pharmacist discussed my prescriptions and made changes, the reasons for the changes I completely understood. The discussion was very helpful.i had sufficient time to ask questions and share my concerns.
