    I honestly can't understand the bad reviews, we have been with them for over 20 years and have had all marvellous care from them, from receptionists to doctors, the nurses have always been top quality too, we have been through some really difficult health ordeals and everyone at the surgery has been caring, wonderful. Yesterday I called , was in extreme pain levels as I am waiting for an operation, called a bit out of the normal hours one is supposed to call for an emergency appointment, but the receptionist who took the call went the extra mile, so later on a Dr called, was more than understanding, fabulous good manners, explained me what he was prescribing and went the extra mile too, saying to call if it didn't work and which options could be available if that was the case. Thankfully, it worked, and so I am here again ( I have reviewed the practice a couple of times before, I complain when complaint is due, so I reckon one should praise when good service happens) It is a shame we cannot name professionals, there are many people whom we feel particularly grateful for, but we have very, very rarely had professionals we were not happy with. Thank you to you all, receptionists that are extremely patient with me (especially the practice manager) nurse and doctors, I know I talk a lot more than your average person, so your patience and care are treasured by both myself and my daughter. Once again, thank you for your service.

    I was on my way to the practice for a test and I got a call about 15 minute before the appointment from a lady in the practice that they couldn't perform a test as "a wrong test" was booked. I asked for a further explanation, and she agreed to speak with me in the practice. It turned out that a correct test was booked, but she (the one that called and was supposed to undertake the test) didn't want to do the test as she felt that the slot booked for the appointment was too short and tired to blame me for the "mistake" GP made. I find her attitude unacceptable.

  3. Review titled Doctor with poor manner

    I was there on time for the appointment but the GP kept me waiting for more than 30 minutes. The doctor or staff did not apologies for the delay (obviously) unarmoured with their self indulgence that their time was more previous than patients. Do they not know that patients have life to run?

    Very impressed with a call I just received from a GP about my mother's condition - he was thorough, clear and attentive. I have always been treated with respect and given the time to discuss often complex care issues the arise over my mother's care, I am most appreciative of this quality of care.

    I have recently been dealing with the practice in relation to my mother's ongoing care. Throughout a difficult and challenging period the Reception staff and the Doctor have provided the highest possible standard of care. The doctor's treatment of my mother, on both a human and a professional level, has been outstanding. Her care and compassion has provided my ailing mother with reassurance and comfort. I am a long standing patient at the Practice and and have always received great care however the manner in which the Practice has responded to my mother's illness has highlighted the exceptional standard of care provided there. I can only thank them for their warmth, compassion and professionalism.

    I visited the nurse for cervical screening. Wanted to leave a review about my very positive experience. The nurse was friendly and reassuring and immediately put me at ease. The screening was completed in just a few minutes and was very easy/pain free. I really recommend the nurse services at Hampstead Group Practice.

  7. Review titled Prescriptions always a runaround.

    Getting my weekly prescription is an ordeal just about every week. Often ignored or simply just not done. This GP practice make life really difficult and has had a negative impact on mine purely due to regular prescription requests being ignored.
