  2. Review titled Doctor who doesn’t care

Rated 1 star out of 5

I’m 26 and have alway tried my best to avoid this doctor since childhood as every time I’ve seen them they make you out to be overreacting/ over dramatic and make you feel as if you’re at fault or that’s nothings wrong. Unfortunately today I didn’t realise that when booking it was with this certain doctor or I wouldn’t have bothered. I’ve been having issues with my blood sugar levels and with me being autistic makes it a lot harder to manage. I felt as though I was just rushed off the phone and made to feel as if it’s my own fault and that the doctor didn’t really care or couldn’t be bothered and have been given advice that I told then does not work for me and left it at that.

  5. Review titled Worst practice ever

Rated 1 star out of 5

by David - Posted on 19 June 2023

You may be surprised that a new state of the art medical practice would come up to high standards regarding the service that they provide, but this is definitely not the case. You cannot get an appointment until weeks away. You ring and are told that we’re be experiencing high demand of calls and that you are number 21 in the queue, and to request call back which when you do there is no call back! I’ve tried numerous times over the past few weeks and have just given up with the practice , and I am now looking at registering at another medical practice as I’ve had enough of the extremely poor service offered at Hadrian Heath.

  6. Review titled Highly Professional Practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by George Melvin - Posted on 21 February 2024

I have been treated for Cellulitis at this practice at which I am a registered patient. As I was not aware of this condition previously I was very apprehensive. I was seen by three different medical professionals as well as reception staff. Without exception they were all highly professional as well as friendly and caring. This repeats experience in my previous dealings with the Practice both routine and specialised. In general, as a former patient of the Portugal Place Practice I had been apprehensive that the family type of patient care which I experienced there may have been lost in the change to a larger organisation. I am pleased to say that experience has proved that my apprehension was unwarranted and that the change has retained the atmosphere as well as adding extra services. As a general observation the success seems to be reflected in the camaradarie among the staff. When I am finished the medication I shall raise a glass to them all, even if some of them may disapprove.
