Been given the best COPD advice and told of all the different options open to me to make my breathing and hopefully be able to continue without getting worse.

I don't normally leave reviews as I think maybe the person or service I used was having an off day and I give them a break, but this service is poor. I very rarely phone the doctors but the past 2 times I have phoned they have had no appointments available for 3 months. The receptionists you speak to seem uncaring of this situation and to be honest have probably become numb to the situation and are sick of people being rude to them so just give it automatically. You shouldn't have to wait 3 months to be able to get an appointment at your doctors. Phoning 111 is not the solution to everything. I got told to phone 111 and then 111 gave me an appointment at the centre the day after, where did that appointment magically appear from? The doctors are great when you actually get to see one and help you out and are more caring that any walk in centre that you will get sent to from 111. Someone needs to look into what is happening at the centre it's like there's one doctor working there alone. The centre is going to end up losing it's patients to other centres, it's lost me after today's fight for an appointment I will just be going straight to 111 until I get chance to sign on at a new medical centre, saves the phone call to this centre I'll cut out the middle man and save myself a 20min wait on the phone to be told they don't have any appointments, why don't they record a message to people waiting to speak to reception about appointments saying "we don't have any appointments, phone 111" save all the agrevation of people waiting on the phone to be told no. Where are these early morning appointments coming from if they don't have appointments for 3 months, it's insulting and rude to make people wait like that.

It is extremely difficult to make an appointment at this practice. It seems they put barriers in the way to avoid providing the service they get paid for. I wanted to arrange a non urgent appointment anytime but was told to ring back because they are currently booked up until March and the booking system will not go beyond this date. I have been told to do this on a previous call and when I rang back was told there were no appointments. This practice is not fit for purpose!

For years I have struggled with my digestive tract and have visited the doctors lots on and off over the years with it. I went to the surgery to see a Doctor I haven't seen before who listened carefully to all my symptoms. For once this doctor looked at the cause of my pain and didn't just treat the symptoms with more useless medication. She recommended trying the Fodmap way of eating and it turns out that I was basically poisoning myself all this time! For the first time in years I am symptoms and pain free. Can't thank her enough for listening.

whenever i call for an appointment even an emergency appointment for my 8 yr old child i always get told the next app is around 8 weeks, if my child is crying and unwell i cannot wait 8 weeks, what are we meant to do!!! The staff on reception are rude and none understanding, only advise they can give is to call 111 or go on econsult which i have done and it advised site is only open during branch hours, when i explained this to her she said well the surgery is open so you can do it online. advising her that i know its open as i can only tell her what is on the screen. no help at all! doctors seem the same just now the NHS is a disgrace

Good Afternoon, I am sorry to hear about the issues you have had trying to get your child an appointment. Same day urgent appointments are released each morning at 8am, however these do go quite quickly, the reception staff should be polite and professional at all times and give you advice on what other services are available to you, should no appointments at the surgery be available.
