    Very difficult to get booked for appointment, I had to go through 111 service, it took me one and half hours to finally get an appointment, I was told no appointments left , but I needed antibiotics for UTI problem which I get very frequently, I found it very stressful, as being 78years of age

    Dear Diane, I am sorry to hear of your issues regarding appointments.  GPS Healthcare (GPS) appreciates the time you have taken to raise your concerns with us.  What is Patchs?  The service will be available between Monday to Friday for a limited number of consultations.  Patients submit their request via an online form.   There is no need to wait in a phone queue or travel to the practice.   The request will be sent to the practice, with questions and answers that specifically relate to the request placed. The information provided allows us to book the most appropriate appointment in the most appropriate time-frame.  Patchs is an NHS-approved digital triage tool designed to enhance patient access.  You will receive a response by 6.30pm the next day or sooner, especially where an urgent assessment may be required.    I do hope I have addressed your concerns.  GPS Healthcare are always listening to our patient needs and constantly improving our services.  Thank you for taking the time to raise these concerns with us.  Kind regards,  GPS Healthcare

    We were offered an appointment the same day, at Village surgery. When we arrived we were seen straight away, the staff were caring, understanding and explained everything clearly. Without this service being avaliable we could have been waiting several days to get an appointment and my daughters infection would have been worse.

    I have just visited Tanworth lane to drop off my prescription. The car park was yet again completely full and cars left everywhere even on double yellow lines! There were another 4 cars looking for spaces so I came out and parked on the road. This as happened several times before and I asked at reception “where are all these cars from as the waiting room was empty” I was told I have no idea perhaps they have gone shopping!! This is ridiculous there’s no shops close by. I feel sorry for the people who have walking difficulties and something needs to be done!

The car park is used by the Pharmacy customers and also our patients. There are times when cars are left there for longer periods of time and if identified we do ask them not to do that. We are also aware of our patient needs and are always working hard to ensure patients can access our car park and buildings safely. I will pass this on to the site manager to look into it further.     Thank you for the reply about no availability on parking at Tanworth Lane Surgery. Have you counted how many parking spaces there are? When I went I looked in the surgery and the pharmacy, I saw 2 people! So your report you gave me does not stack up unless there was 2 dozen patients in with doctors! In these times post Covid you’re lucky to get an appointment let alone meet face to face with a doctor. The lack of parking spaces is a regular occurrence and needs sorting.

    Dear Robert, thank you for you feedback, I am sorry my last response did not answer your concerns. I am fully aware of our car park capacity, I am also aware at times it can get quite busy and we apologise for this, we have recently highlighted the different bays to make it more clear for all. We also have accessible spaces clearly marked. There is also local parking where absolutely necessary, there are no plans or any way in which we can make our car park any bigger. We have approximately 13 clinical rooms at Tanworth Lane and even though you saw two people there could be many more in rooms, our car park has enough bays to meet this demand, however with the pharmacy this at times can get busy. Most of our patients are seen face to face unless the patient requests a telephone appointment. I hope this helps answer your concerns and gives you reassurance that we are aware.     Awful experience trying to arrange my father’s death certificate. Constant prevaricating about which doctor was responsible for signing the required paperwork. Still waiting on a resolution two weeks after he has passed. Those involved have shown no compassion and are quick to blame others within their practice, rather than take the responsibility on to sort it themselves.

    I was able to get an appointment very quickly. The receptionist was polite and friendly on the phone and face to face. The medical professional I saw was informative and polite. I was very happy with my experience at the village surgery.

    Was offered an appointment same day. Appointment ran to time and issue dealt with. Prescription issued but could not collect at pharmacy straight away as it needed to be reviewed by a GP first

    I am still waiting for a referral to be sent for hip surgery at Birmingham Royal Orthopaedic but it still hasn't been done, I have now been waiting several months

    30-40 minute wait every time I phone. Extremely difficult to get a Doctors appointment. Mix up/mistake with blood tests. Unable to get my online records despite several attempts. Staff always lovely but overwhelmed/understaffed?
