    Got seen by a paramedic in the surgery which was perfect for a non urgent matter... Only popped in to book an appointment and got seen within 5 mins

    Really helpful and knowledgable, prompt appointment and clear plan Good system with patches, getting triage call and then an appointment that suited us within 24 hours

    Iam not a patient at Yew Tree Medical Centre , however, I attended the surgery yesterday for Nurse G to take my blood. She was welcoming, informative and answered questions in a professional way. I also want to commend the excellent communication of Dr York who contacted me the previous week and actively listened to my concerns and queries and concerns and fitted me in to Yew Tree clinic to get my blood tests completed. I felt listened to and appreciated as an elderly patient who still has her faculties! Thank You and credit where it's due both!

    Having tried on and off all day to speak to someone at the surgery I eventually decided to attend in person. On arrival at 4-35 there were 2 people waiting but no receptionist. We waited at least 10 min until a young man appeared. The couple ahead of me took at least 10 min to be attended to and when it was my turn I asked where he had been and got a mumbled response. He said the ohones had been busy all day but they didn't ring once in the 20 odd mins I was there..My visit was important .I don't visit often but would like to feel there was some duty of care.

    Dear Mrs Botten I am sorry to hear of your issues regarding appointments.  GPS Healthcare (GPS) appreciates the time you have taken to raise your concerns with us.  What is Patchs?  The service will be available between Monday to Friday for a limited number of consultations.  Patients submit their request via an online form.   There is no need to wait in a phone queue or travel to the practice.   The request will be sent to the practice, with questions and answers that specifically relate to the request placed. The information provided allows us to book the most appropriate appointment in the most appropriate time-frame.  Patchs is an NHS-approved digital triage tool designed to enhance patient access.  You will receive a response by 6.30pm the next day or sooner, especially where an urgent assessment may be required.    I do hope I have addressed your concerns.  GPS Healthcare are always listening to our patient needs and constantly improving our services.  Thank you for taking the time to raise these concerns with us.  Kind regards,  Sam Maddocks Site Manager

    I have had to phone this practice multiple times recently on behalf of my 86 Mother who is a patient at Yew Tree. She is recovering from hip surgery and now has an ongoing UTI. I have phoned repeatedly from 8.00am and after waiting 40 minutes or more told that there no appointments left and to call 111. 111 after speaking to my Mother tell Yew Tree that they must give her a same day appointment. This has been at another surgery which is not ideal but better than none. This has now been the case 3 times and it beggars belief that we have go around in circles to end up back at Yew Tree! Why can’t they do this themselves in the first place instead of the patients have to go via 111 involving another overstretched service with the resulting same questions and then waiting to hear back from Yew Tree who then give you the appointment you tried to request a few hours previously!! I will say that when she has finally got to see a GP that they all have been excellent.

    I visited this surgery today for a blood test. I am normally a patient at Tanworth Lane. Young gentleman on reception very helpful and the lady who did the blood test very welcoming and chatty. I am ultimately to move into central Solihull in the next couple of months but intend at some point to transfer over to Yew Tree Lane.

    Was on waiting list for steroid injection. Wasn't told that my GP had left and therefore the steroid clinic dates had changed. Called up and expected to attend with less than 24hrs notice. Couldn't do as am self employed and cant just change work around at last minute without incurring a loss of earnings. Asked the receptionist to talk to the GP about this, was told to expect a call back which never happened. was called couple of months later which I missed due to work. When I did call back, my circumstances couldn't be taken into account at all. Diary only went as far as the following week. Asked for a GP appointment to discuss, send a link to the NHS app which I'm not registered on and couldn't book an appointment on anyway. Rang surgery again, got told to put complaint in writing to practice manager......except last time they never bothered to respond! Asked name and was told they didn't know as they were at a different practice. Terrible service and with no chance of getting anything sorted anytime soon. Will have to resort to walking into practice and seeing what can be done there. However, this is just how bad the NHS runs these days and as usual, the patient is expected to change their life around no matter how problematic - appalling.

    Got copd had test got have inhaila rang surgery cause want to pay my prescription for a Yr reception told me nurse will ring in 12 hrs been 12 days no responce
