    Great customer service from the staff who took my phone call. I called for an appointment for my son and the female staff was helpful enough to get me an appointment on the same day with a gp in the evening. Thank you

    Called regarding a Fit Note. Initially called at 8:30, and pressed 1 for a callback. Received a callback within 15 minutes. Was directed online for online consultation for Fit Note, however, I was also booked in for an appointment quickly. Service was polite and fast.

    I have been attending Gough Walk Practice for over 50 years. I attended my latest appointment in September 2024. On arrival I was treated very well with care, understanding and consideration from all of staff at reception. They have always been very helpful towards my needs and concerns at all times. The Doctor was equally excellent to me with patience and understanding for my wellbeing. I would like to take this opportunity to thank them all for their continued support towards me.     This gp practice is unfit for purpose. It is impossible to book appointments, whether by phone or online consult. Significant effort is required to get any response. The gp partner, needs retraining in patient care and communication (you are not God's gift, Dr A), he is dismissive and often directs patients to a&e. His email responses lack the patient-centred care required of an nhs doctor. The current appointment system does not comply with nhs guidelines, leaving patients unable to secure necessary appointments. The eConsult service is only available from 8:00 to 8:20 am, which is inadequate, especially for those lacking computer skills. Despite a promised response within three working days, I had to visit the surgery after five days to follow up. I was then informed that a three-day turnaround is unrealistic. Attempts to speak with the practice manager were futile, as she was reportedly too busy to meet and suggested filling out an online feedback form instead. This practice must improve its services to meet nhs England standards or close, allowing patients to register with a more competent gp practice. This review doesn't permit me to name and share the gp partner due to nhs guidelines. However, I'm confident that those who are registered with this practice will know exactly who I'm referring to.

    Been trying to get an appointment for more than a week had to call at exactly 8am and wait upto over 30/40 minutes min for then to be told there is no appointments or telephone triage so I’d have to call back early next day. Also submitted online request for docs to call back and ten days later I am still waiting for that call back.

    Countless occasions I have had to use this practice and been disappointed. Staff do not care, receptionists are rude and not understanding of situations. I was rejected my repeat medication four times with no explanation, continually asked to call back at 8am to be told nobody could speak to me. After three months a DR called me to explain that it had been logged a year ago i needed to change medication. Not only is this dangerous but also alarming nobody checks. Would not recomend using this surgery

    To makes one appointment is better receive a call back than call to the practice, because always the line is engaged I been waiting for the call and today was very good service, and very polite the staff when makes the appointment for me. I’m very pleased about I do recommend tha in these way is better to make the appointment Thanks

    The receptionist is extremely rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful. They will make you wait whether it is on the phone or in person before talking to you. They will have tea and chatter amongst themselves (not work related) I called the gp practice whilst standing out in the receptionist to see how long it takes them to answer the phone. I was 7 in the queue but no one picked up my call as they were talking and laughing amongst themselves. Also my mum had a telephone appointment. The phone only rang twice and they hung up. I had to call back and complain and argue for my mum to have an appointment. I did an e-consult and it said someone will be in touch within 48hours but they gave an appointment 2 weeks later ???? Pls can Gough walk practice be looked into and improve their patient service as soon as possible. People have serious conditions and they are waiting weeks for an appointment. It’s very ridiculous.
