In the past when having treatment at the Royal Berks Hospital the GP surgery has worked with them taking necessary blood sample. Now all blood tests are treated as routine and you have to wait 3-4 weeks for appountments. My husband is having 2 weekly treatments at hosp, but we cannot get tests done for them at surgery as there is more than 2 weeks wait. They are not distinguishing between routine tests and tests that are part of ongoing treatment. so we have to travel some distanmce to et tests done in Reading

I have been a patient at this practice for over 30 years. During that time I have received excellent service. The standard of care from the doctors is first class with rapid follow-up, as appropriate. Referrals are dealt with quickly and very efficiently. The pharmacy team work hard to fulfil prescriptions in a very timely manner. We are fortunate to have such a dedicated medical team.

There had been a mix up with one of my prescriptions. Both the front desk team and the dispensing team were excellent in helping sort it out. Exceeded my expectations!

Call made on Friday afternoon for my poorly child, call answered immediately, duty Dr called back within 40 minutes, review by GP in surgery within an hour of initial call and medication dispensed. Caring communication and thorough review. As a secondary care physician I am well aware of the challenges on the service and I was enormously impressed with the responsiveness and attitude of all staff. Thank you.
