    I was terrified to have my blood test but the lady who took it was extremely caring and understanding and made the experience very comfortable for me.

    This surgery is still working in pandemic timetrying to get an appontment is impossible. Receptionists talk down to patients. Surgeries are supposed to be back to normal now. Patients should be able to get an appointment now when we ring. Someone needs to tell Foxhill that. Why are we still having to speak to a Dr first before we can get an appointment. I have just been told by a Dr to go to the walk in in town! At 70years old!! I thought the surgery had bettered itself by getting all new Drs. It seems that they have morphed into the surgeries way of working. Foxhill, take note. Appointments are back to being made when a patients tries to book one

    Dear 'Anonymous' Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback. I am sorry to hear that our service has not met with your expectations. Unfortunately our practice along with most other GP surgeries are facing unprecedented demands. This is down to a number of factors which are out of our control. We offer the walk in centre to patients who feel their illness cannot wait and requires attention on that day. This is only offered when our appointments are at capacity. Since your review, we have now introduced a system called Total Triage. This is system that allows your request to be assessed by a doctor who will decide the best outcome. We are finding the system to be a success and it allows fairer access to our services rather than first come first served. I note your closing comment and would like to address it. We are fully aware that appointments are back. They never went away, but what we do not have are limitless amounts of appointments - as our patient population grows and the demands on our service increase this has a huge impact on availability.     The receptionists speak to you horrendously. I rung to ask about a phone appointment I hadn't recieved and was told to ring at 8.30 to book one because she can't find this one. When I told her she isn't understanding as these are regularly 2 week appointments with my specific doctor for a specific issue, I was told she was hanging up because the conversation is not going anywhere. She refused to email the doctor to check why the appointment hadn't happened and when I asked if I could explain it to someone else I was told No.

    For my flu and COVID injections the organisation was brilliant. Trying to see a doctor is very very very poor

    Hello Brian Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear that you've had difficulty getting an appointment. We know that it can be difficult to get an appointment at times when all of our appointments have been booked already by other patients. I'd like to assure you that we are doing everything we can with the funding available to us. We would love nothing more than to have more appointments available but unfortunately there is no extra funding from NHS England/the Government to provide these. Our data does show that we have provided 20,000 more appointments in the past year compared to 3 years ago (67% more appointments) but this is still not enough to meet the huge increase in patient demand.     Went for flu jab in and out in minutes. Can't comment on general service as you can never get through on phone and when you do appointments have gone. Should bring back the morning drop in for working people
