    The online consultation proceedure works well although I appreciate it might not suit everyone. The practice is run in a very professional manner and despite the pressures the team work under they always friendly and clearly want to help.

    I had reason to visit the surgery today as I was unable to get through on the phone. I found the staff very efficient and helpful.

    Having moved into the area nine months ago we have without exception found Fordingbridge Surgery to be efficient, helpful and kind. The Receptionists and Dispensary are always patient, listen and helpful. The Doctors always phone when they say they will, and when necessary invite you in for a consultation. This practice is refreshing, professional, hard working and very caring. We couldn't be more pleased to be on their books. Thank you to all of the hard working staff there from Reception, Dispensary, Nurses to the GPs.

    Accessed the Anima request platform and filled in the rather long questionnaire but had a fantastic same day response from the doctors here culminating in a prescription being ready to collect the same day, which was unexpected as the Anima site states that a response could take up to 3 days which is an unhelpful suggestion and proved to be so incorrect. I was sceptical about filling in a form on an app to request medical support but it was great as it saved waiting to speak to a receptionist, travelling to the surgery in these times of Covid and flu then sitting waiting to see the doctor. It proved to be a quick and very convenient way of getting treatment. I can see now how the Anima system works for those who are able to access and navigate the app and hopefully saves valuable time for patients as they don’t have to travel to the surgery unnecessarily and saves time for the surgery staff so they can deal with the increasing workload we here so much about. Thank you doctors for your kind and prompt attention.

    Thank you again to this terrific GP, Pharmacy and front desk administration team who provided outstanding, effective and quick service during a period of high demand. As always this team is warm, compassionate and friendly and provided a rapid response after I used the Anima online e consult service. The response from the team was comprehensive, efficient and extremely kind. I feel particularly fortunate to have this GP surgery team and have every confidence that my queries will be treated professionally and always in a kind and supportive manner. I would finally just add that in my experience the e-consult service is super quick and extremely efficient. It is a new way of approaching the GP team but from my experience has only been incredibly positive. I am confident all my data are safe on this service. Thank you to all the terrific people at Fordingbridge GP Surgery and Pharmacy - the team provides outstanding service even during periods of high demand. Fordingbridge is very lucky to have this practice.

    Your Review: Came to the practice for appointment at 11:10 with Dr Arthur on the 14th of November The self check in was not working and reception was very busy There were about 20-25 people sat and stood in reception The receptionist was doing a great job keeping everyone happy and informed An elderly lady in front of me was asking questions about a group that used to support the surgery in some way and The receptionist was very patient in explaining to her that the group was now called ‘friends of Fordingbridge surgery ‘ The elderly lady was adamant that this was incorrect and informed The receptionist of the name of the group The receptionist very eloquently explained to the elderly lady that the group no longer existed and was now superseded by friends of Fordingbridge surgery but the lady sent the receptionist off to find out if anyone knew what had happened to the previous group ! The receptionist did go and speak to a colleague for a Moment and came back to the lady to explain the lady could email in to the surgery and get an answer to her question that way but the elderly lady said ‘No I can’t as no one emails for me ‘ The receptionist once again took the time to give the elderly lady the details of how to make contact and also how she could receive help to send the email. During all of this The receptionist also dispensed ppe masks to two different visitors and had to explain to one of them how the strings work. Throughout all of this The receptionist was softly spoken, polite and didn’t show signs of stress at all ! While people behind me in the queue were muttering and rolling their eyes showing their disapproval of the elderly ladies actions , The receptionist handled the situation in a very emotionally intelligent way sending the lady(who dropped most of her paperwork on the floor before leaving ) off with a smile . The receptionist then served myself and the other visitors saying she apologised for the wait we had ! I told The receptionist she had the patience of a saint and she seemed surprised to hear that ! I saw my doctor and was prescribed antibiotics which I got from your dispensary. While waiting for the antibiotics I popped over to coop and got a few chocolates and biscuits for the staff room as I was really impressed with how well the receptionist and her team were dealing with the challenges the ‘great British public ‘ were offering today. It would be fantastic if someone could find the time to give The receptionist a positive feedback session as I think she is going over and beyond the call of duty ! Thanks again Jens
