    After being admitted to hospital I have repeatedly attempted to make an appointment to speak with a doctor only to be fobbed off and told to ring the following day at 08:00. After phoning as instructed by reception I was told no appointments available for "Looking like 6 weeks". I explained I have been in hospital and told to ring back in 2 weeks. Disgusting service.

    Once again tried (and failed) to make an appointment, first and only person there but only one emergency slot remaining, how? Not really an emergency, however told that all other appointments are booked into the following month and that I should go to A&E, which is disgraceful, that should be for emergencies only. Once upon a time it was a good Practice. Now 0 out of 5.

    I contacted the surgery by phone, and was placed in a queue of callers, and then I was informed that once it was my turn the reception would contact me, which they did. I was given the option of a phone appointment and a doctor would contact me at some point. Within an hour I was contacted by a doctor and after explaining my symptoms I was told that a prescription for some antibiotics would be sent to the pharmacy of my choice. I picked the prescription up in the afternoon. So my experience was that the staff were very efficient and I was dealt with quickly, therefore it was a satisfactory service.

    I just wanted to say how brilliant this surgery is. I have been with them 2 years and every member of staff from the receptionist, nurses and doctors have been really kind, caring and helpful. They always make me feel valued and listened to and go out of their way to make me feel comfortable. Thank you to everyone at Fieldhead Surgery!

    Twice now during an appointment I have been told either 1. You only have 10 minutes after I mentioned I had a list after waiting a month for an appointment. 2. Have not time to discuss your results as I have a patient waiting. When you wait 2 weeks sometimes to see a doctor you don't need to be so rushed. I am aware that the doctors nurses other staff have a backlog. But this back log increases when you go away with ailments for another 2 weeks they are unable to address. The NHS and our Dr's I know do their level best. Just beware how you come across. Too busy for you now is very bad for sick people. We are all suffering in different ways. Depression is growing. I wonder why? To feel insignificant is very depressing.

    I called first thing Friday morning and was given an appt for a tel call at 4.50. The call hadn't happened by 5 40 so I called to chase it up. Only to be told nothing had been booked. I stated I am a type 1 diabetic with several health complications and needed to speak to somebody thst fay. The receptionist said I needed to ring 111 despite the surgery still being open. I asked why u should do that when it was their mistake the receptionist was very rude snd very unhelpful. I explained that I couldn't attend an appt at the other side of leedd due to my 3 Yr old having scarlet fever to be told well you'd need to ho out for a prescription wouldn't you. She spoke to a gp who apparently said I needed to call 111 again I reminded them it qas their error to then be told well nobody has been in your record so you can't have called the surgery! I even read the call log details and the conversation we had. Adamant they weren't doing anything about it and told me to ring 111 again. Asked to speak to the manager to which the receptionist told me she was away from her desk and she finished in 5 mins so wouldn't be possible! There are a few lovely doctors there but shame about the reception team. Will be looking to move ASAP. Would not recommend
