Review titled Appalling
Rated 1 star out of 5

Consistently unable to get an appointment. Have resorted to recording evidence daily to show I am unable to book e-consults, get an appointment through telephone or the Apps. Have been ignored through email requests, have been dismissed of symptoms for years only to get a diagnosis of a progressive disease and they offer no support for pain management or had no idea of a specialist clinic I could have attended. Absolutely desparate for some care from the doctors and the reception staff are extremely rude, ignorant, lack empathy and dismissive. Currently seeking legal advice against this surgery and those who have been involved with dismissing my need for care and treatment and to find an alternative doctors surgery.

Let me set 1 thing straight I have been a patient at this surgery for 38+ years so when I comment I have had a lot of experience. The surgery has far far too many patients, not enough staff and they lately rely on telephone calls to treat patients. I have recently had a severe cough to the point I was coughing so hard I was producing blood clots. I managed to get an appointment. I arrived early as I never want to be late. The Dr however 45 mins late and when seen it was like a conveyor belt. Oh you had asthma as a child you’ve had Covid it’s something to do with that. Here have this inhaler if it’s not better in a month come back and see me. A week later I was alot worse, contacted 111 who got a Dr to speak to me. No sounds like a chest infection. Antibiotics prescribed and cleared up in a few days. I now get a message saying a dr has booked a phone consult for my blood sugars. I let them know I won’t be able to make the appt as I’ll be on a flight I get told well I can’t see any appts past x date. So I advise well I will not be able to answer and I’m away till end of the month. Receptionist advises she will speak to someone. 15 mins later I get a call saying I’ll receive a call the following day. Now today I get a text message saying my appointment will now be tomorrow “during the day”! I have tried contacting the surgery to no avail to advise I’m on a night shift so will be asleep. Looks like they may be wasting time to try and get a hold of me but I have tried to tell them. They are just ridiculously hard to talk to!
