  1. Review titled Awful Practice, can never get an appointment!

Since moving to Wilberforce Health Centre, this practice is honestly appalling! At at point in the day, you are on the phone for well over an hour before even speaking to anyone and then, of course, you can't get an appointment! Yet it is advertising for new patients. Last week, I was on hold for over an hour so decided to drive to the surgery (where you have to now pay to park) and spoke to the receptionist. Neither of them were on the phone, yet I was still on hold in a queue? Would not recommend!

  2. Review titled Waste of space and time

Rated 2 stars out of 5

On visiting the surgery today 31/10/2023 with regard to a hearing problem, I was able to spend a remarkable 4 minutes with a doctor only to be told that as I had ear wax that I would have to spend approximately £50 at Specsavers to get my ears treated. It would seem that some doctors no longer provide patient treatment but painstakingly attempt to pass problems elsewhere.

I went to east park practice with diabetic symptoms such as urinating more, excessive thirst and genuinely feeling unwell for the Doctor to tell me it’s in my head and to send me to emergency doctors as I only got a over the phone call. I then went to emergency doctors for them to tell me they can’t do blood tests and it’s disgraceful they even sent me there and I only got a face to face appointment because of the emergency doctors ringing up. I finally get an appointment for the doctor to tell me I need a blood test butI have to wait longer for a nurse to do it as the doctor won’t. I finally get a blood test two weeks later and get a phone call to get myself to hospital as I’m in “DKA” And my HbA1c is 101. Having spend 3 days in hospital with drips and feeling awful I’m diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. All of this could of been caught so much quicker and easier if I got a appointment straight away instead of waiting all of nearly a month of messing about.
