    When I first registered I had problems with prescriptions, in the past drugs changed without a reason and without being informed, this was eventually sorted. In the summer many appointments were cancelled, 3 to 4 times the same appointment that you had waited weeks for. The figures/numbers of appointments that were cancelled by the surgery were never displayed, but missed appointments are displayed. Problems ringing and waiting weeks for appointments. Call in the morning advised to see a pharmacist, pharmacist tells you Antibiotics are needed, then told 10 day wait for an appointment even for antibiotics. If you work you cannot keep holding on at 8.30 am. even then it is not guaranteed. Some care you receive from this surgery is as it should be, however a lot is very poor.

    Weirdly every time you call, you’re 9th in the queue, only to fe to 1st in the queue and you’re then cut off. I’m not the first to complain about this and no doubt won’t be the last. Sheer incompetence. If you can’t answer your calls in the correct manner, I doubt you’re taken care of very well either. I never need the doctors and the one time I do, can’t even get through. This surgery is beyond shocking!

    The surgery is impossible to contact. The on-line services have had a message saying that they are receiving a high volume of demand so you should phone them. The phone is a time consuming device as you are forced to wait over 20 minutes or more to actually make contact. If the matter is not urgent but still needs to be addressed you are going to hang up. You are told not to call in person to make appointments. There are no same day appointments and you are constantly advised to go to A & E for anything that may require being seen within a day or two. There is no email contact, you are advised to phone in. There is no online contact, you re advised to phone in. There is no in person contact, you are advised to phone in. There is no service and the front line staff are being over worked to an unhealthy level.

    I have waited for an appt for by deafness since January and wrote a scathing review previously. To give balance, I eventually did get an appt and referral to ENT. The guy who saw me this morning was absolutely fantastic. Just shows that the government are making great public servants look bad. Thank-you very much.

    I’ve moved around a lot due to work so have been under quite a few doctors in Essex Kent and Suffolk and this is by far the best doctors I have been with. I have a long term chronic illness & when I have needed an appointment in regards to this I have always been able to get one - without the stress and demeaning attitude a lot of previous surgeries have had. I’ve recently been under maternity care and I cannot fault that at all. From needing an early referral for a scan, to my baby’s vaccinations, & even an on the day emergency app for her, staff have always been great and easy to talk to. All services are stretched to the max and I’m so thankful this surgery is still trying their best to put the patient first. Reception staff have always been great also and have always helped with any enquiries I have had & are always pleasant despite the influx of calls I can imagine they get daily. I don’t usually leave reviews or feedback but I feel NHS services that go above and beyond need the recognition for the amazing support they provide.

    I telephoned the surgery this evening and apologised to the receptionist as I got the wrong day for my appt! Although I get it isn’t great but was genuine, I did get a very patronising response! When you call the surgery you are reminded to be polite and respectful, sometimes I feel this should be reciprocated by the staff on reception. That said some are lovely and I get not everybody is respectful and polite, but I was so appreciate the same back… some training on how to speak to patients is recommended I feel. I would be horrified if I knew one of my family spoke to anybody in such a patronising tone… there really is no need for it esp when I was very polite and apologetic
