Review titled fantastic turnround
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Graham Heaford - Posted on 04 November 2024
Had a full blood test at 8.30 am this morning at Hsf surgery . Couldn't believe it when the reviewed results appeared on my Nhs app at 5pm the same day. Even better all the critical results were showing an improvement and no new concerns. Fantastic . Thanks in particular to Nurse T and Doctor M.

Review titled Awful practice
Rated 1 star out of 5

Called up at 800 to be placed on hold and a call back arranged for, no one to call back. When calling up to chase the call back receptionist states there is no appointments available. Seems like you can only get an appointment if you over the ages of 70 or know someone at the surgery.

Trying to get an appointment is a complete waste of time, just go to the walk in centre if you are younger than 70! 8am told no appointments and 11am told 16th of January.what a joke!

Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Sharon Moncur-Pearce - Posted on 04 July 2023
The doctor I saw today was incredibly supportive, understanding and helpful. It led me on to making further appointments of which the receptionist was very patient and friendly. I got all my appointments in quick succession. Overall a very positive experience.

Review titled Awful Practice

Truly awful practice, go anywhere else if you can. I thankfully have rarely needed to visit the Dr ( maybe once every couple of years) since was forced to change practice after moving a few years ago. Never had any issue with previous place, i so wish i was back there. Everytime i have seen the Dr i was given…. he has been a complete wate of time. This katest ans last episode , i wanted to see a Dr , this time i was goinv to ask forcanyone but him! was told to go online, it asks who you woukd like to see Dr, Nurse etc, i asked for Dr got an appointment fir nurse, oh well i thought, will see what she says. Arrived 10mins before my appointment to find only 2 people in the entire waiting room , great i thought, wrong!! After about 5 mins a person came from seeing the nurse, i was booked in to see, so i thought great u will be straight in… no. 10 minutes passed and the 2 people in the waiting room had been called in to see the Drs, one left after about 5 mins. I was then on my own , apart from the 2 receptionists who appeared to spend the whole time discussing other patients! After another 5 minutes . a couple arrived for vaccinations, just the 3 of us in the waiting area, and what i can only describe as people messing about in the room behind the reception. After waiting 30 minutes from when the last person left the nurse, i decided to leave. Anyone having to use thus surgery i can only say goid luck.

Review titled All round great team!
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Lisa crane - Posted on 19 May 2023
I just wanted to give some positive feedback of my experience so far; Having moved to the practice in September 2022, I’ve experienced nothing but great service from the entire team I’ve experienced so far: Reception are always extremely helpful for booking appointments and responding to general and email queries (for registration and setting up online services) The nurses for vaccinations (me during pregnancy and my new baby) The GP’s for both myself and my baby. I’m sure your jobs aren’t easy but from what I’ve seen you’re doing a great job! Thankyou!!!

Review titled Ageist
Rated 3 stars out of 5

So while I was waiting to be seen I was observing the reception team. A lady of a mid age walked in and claimed to have been trying to phone for a appointment for her ears to be syringed, and was told that she wasn’t able to prebook an appointment due to there being none and she explained Monday was her only day off and the reception told her she would have to keep trying. Then a young girl with her grandpa walked up to reception to ask if he could have an appointment because of his bad knees and the receptionist said they had availability in the afternoon or the following morning. How is it correct that an elderly gentleman could get an appointment but the mid aged lady couldn’t. Also my experience of getting an appointment took a while and have had a blood test cancelled before seeing a doctor thankfully now all is well now. Just thought I’d mention the ageist treatment
