Firstly the staff on desk are aweful rude people always talk down to you.Yiu can never get an appointment and repeat prescription are either forgotten or late I would not use these even if it was the last doctors on earth there's lots more but will not go into all

Thank you for your comment. I am sorry to hear that you found the staff were unhelpful. Your comments will be discussed in one of our staff meetings and staff will be given extra training on how to deal with patients who are seeking help.

I contacted my surgery as I thought I may have a bladder infection. When I went to the surgery to collect my specimen tube (after already contacting them through the website and over the phone) They went over my contact details with me and seemed to think that my parents contact details were more important than mine and I tried to correct them that they are to contact me. I was 16 and I am entitled to patient confidentiality and I am competent enough to receive my own medical updates and advice from doctors . The surgery contacted my parents twice about my medical issue instead of me, as if I were not entitled to updates about my own health and once they finally did contact me on my mobile, once they realised they were speaking to their actual patient they immediately asked to speak to my parents instead and I had to firmly correct them that I am who they need to address and they finally then gave me information. I am now too scared to ever go this this surgery ever again if this unprofessionalism is to continue , what if i wanted help with something deeply personal? such as contraception or an abortion? would they like to broadcast that aswell? They appeared to do what they wanted rather than what they are actually supposed to do ,it completely goes agains the ethics of the NHS. Very unlikely to recommend to someone else and I will be registering elsewhere.

Thank you for your comment regarding the service received from Faircross Health Centre staff. Staff meeting will be held and your comments discussed with staff. Staff will be given extra training on how to deal with any patients who are in your position.
