Review titled Awful experience
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 25 July 2024
Cancelled my appointment from the day before. Rescheduled it for today only to be told the receptionist did not book it. The team there do not have a clue what they are doing. How are these people getting employed. Awful experience and still have not been seen.

Review titled Worst Practice
Rated 1 star out of 5

I booked an appointment only for the time to be changed without my consent and without me being informed. I then called to speak to reception and was abused and hung up on. I then went into the practice to be lied to and taken advantage of. Hands down the worst practice going around and I would not recommend to anyone. The receptionist doesn’t even know how to talk to you in a professional manner and in not adequate/ knowledgeable enough for their role.

Review titled Bad experience
Rated 1 star out of 5

I made an appointment for a blood and radiology test, but was told to wait a whole week. Later, I spoke with the doctor on the phone and was given another appointment for a week later. On the day of the appointment, I called to confirm whether it would be on the phone or in-person, and was informed that it would be on the phone again. However, I was given a second appointment with another woman on the same day, and was told to arrive an hour later. When I called again to confirm, the staff member I spoke to was rude to me. Despite all this, they eventually gave me another appointment but it was for two weeks later.

Terrific practice, terrific team of people - great care. All of the team are excellent, joined up, and I have every confidence in this practice, after having had a very poor experience elsewhere in the local area.

Review titled No Communication Between DRs and Reception
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 25 October 2022
I've had an awful experience that's repeatedly wasted my time which appears to be due to a lack of communication between the Drs and staff. In the first instance I received a text saying I had an appointment for the following day. I had not booked anything in so phoned the surgery to find out what it was for, they said the Dr who made it was not working that day so to phone back the following morning (day of the appt). I phoned in the morning to ask what the appt was for and was told it would be a phone consultation. When it had passed 10 minutes after the time of the appt I phoned again to confirm the Dr would still be calling, it was confirmed that I was last in the queue, I advised that I would only be free another 15 minutes as I had stayed behind at work to take the call as my journey home on the tube would mean I wasn't contactable. On my journey home I popped into the surgery to ask for an update as I still hadn't been called and I didn't have any missed calls. I was then informed that I did not have an appt at all and that I was supposed to pick up equipment - at no point had this been communicated to me despite calling 3 times. After picking up this equipment I was booked in the following week for tests, I attended the appointment and only blood pressure readings were taken, I asked if any further tests were supposed to be taken as the original Dr advised me there would be a couple. The Dr/ nurse taking my blood pressure said nothing else needed taking. A week later I phoned for an update from the Dr now that they had my blood pressure results, the reception told me that I still needed an ECG reading but their machine was broken, so they would need to find another surgery where I could get this done and book it in. Again at no point was this communicated to me and I fear that if I hadn't phoned up for an update then there would have been no progress on booking me in for an ECG reading.
