The practice website advertises an online booking system, but this will not accept bookings requests. I therefore attended the practice reception in person. I was informed that even a straightforward request would need an appointment with a doctor, which could only be arranged by phoning the practice at 8 am. This seems wholly impractical, since, according to the receptionist, the identical advice is given to everybody.

Dear Patient, It is not necessary to see a GP to request access to the online booking system, we can only assume that there has been some misunderstanding and mis-communication regarding online access.
