    I ordered a prescription via the app that wasn't processed. Took over 9 days, 3 phone calls & abrupt responses by the receptionists for it to be sent to the chemist. They were informed I needed meds ASAP as had none left, would receive phone call to say prescription had been sent, never received, and have been without medication for 3 days, which I have noticed the difference in my health.

    Whilst sitting in the waiting room this week. The receptionist sitting at the reception desk was quite loud when speaking and answering the phone, I heard two patients names mentioned while she rang someone upstairs to check something and also heard medical details about said people!! I worked in GP surgeries for over 25 years and a telephone wasn’t allowed in reception for that very reason, confidentiality!!! I will in future be very mindful when I have to ring up. Very disappointing

    Have been a patient with this practice for 20 years but the last 5 years this practice has deteriated to the point where it is no longer fit for purpose the latest having to register on line to obtain a repeat prescition. A farce when trying to get an appointment even when you achieve this the Doctors do not seem interested and simply pass you from pillar to post. Have tried for several days to register on the web site but proved impossible. Told the reason for change of system is there are thousands of requests each day for prescrptions. What a set up when will this surgery be investigated I have mobility issues so telephoning for a repeat prescrition is my answer. Why did I work and pay into a system that I now need but it is unavailable. Seems to me it is a case of the tail wagging the dog.

    Used to be excellent but no longer the case. Waited weeks for an an appointment to be seen by the doctor. To be fair he wasnt one of the regular staff. He had full scrubs & mask on - maybe he knew something re a local plague i didnt - and didnt introduce himself/no name. I had three issues to discuss & had written down the main points to save time. I was constantly interrupted & talked over. Two issues that were previously dealt with i was abruptly told to "go private" with, one without even checking the progress of any damage via equipment used the last time. Third issue i was told needed a nurses appointment (was asked why i was calling pre appointment so why wasnt i told then?) & that someone would call me & dismissed with no further discussion re the issue. To be fair within 5 mins of leaving the receptionist did call me to book the appointment, but it means another visit a week later & another wasted day off. Maybe hes employed to just quickly enusre they see enough patients but dont actually deal with anything. Disgraceful service. Hopefully if the issue had been more severe/mental based he would have been more interested/proactive but i doubt it. Reception as always were lovely & also helped re the online repeat prescription service not working by giving me details of how to fix it. Next time will make sure the appointment is with one of the established Gps as this man wasted my time & was no help at all. Not impressed at all & left the practice frustrated & upset.

    Everyone laughing and having a coffee while we were waiting at the unmanned front desk. We were not even greeted politely and were told they are not accepting patients (this is nowhere stated online - NHS Choices states they are accepting new patients). I guess they just didn't want to be interrupted while drinking coffee. I had a bad feeling since we walked in and I have no regrets. I'll find a better GP elsewhere.
