No one answers the phone to take appointments, Kept on hold on the phone telling me i am number 1 in the que 45 minutes before the surgery closing time which is shown on their website. Made the trip to the surgery to make an appointment as no one picked up the phone to be told they shut at 6 (not the stated time on their webpage) Can i suggest that if you are not taking calls you put on the phone line the surgery is now closed so we don't waste our time on hold and if you are shutting early update your webpage so people do not have wasted journeys to you because they can never get through on the phone, this is not an accessible service! In addition to this we submitted a form to be completed by a GP over 6 weeks ago and we have chased this 3 x and still haven't been informed that it has been completed and is ready for collection. It is no wonder the surgery was ranked one of the worst in Dorset!

I waited in the queue for about 15 minutes, when my call was answered I was met with an unfriendly voice, this particular receptionist was obstructive and not interested in helping me, she came across as rude.

I can follow my time with this practice for nearly 8 decades and up until this practice took over I was always totally satisfied and gave good reviews. Since then however I am struggling to give a good review. The doctors if you can actually get an appt have been very good but I don't know who any of them are. The repeat prescriptions are a nightmare, I have sometimes had to go to the pharmacist and phone the doctor 3 times before I could get it signed. I have run out once. I had a problem and although waiting for about 45 mins on the phone I was told there were no appts so to phone 111. The person on there told me she would make sure one of my drs phoned me within 20 mins which she did and I was prescribed antibiotics. I had been I'll on and off for about 6 months and I was very run down but hadn't bothered the dr up till then. One of the receptionists had about as much empathy as an Auschwitz commander, no wonder all the nice ones left. I hate going to the dr at the best of times but I get anxiety just trying to get an appt these days. I have never gone unless I have had to.i hope this is a temporary thing and they can manage to get these problems sorted out. I struggle to get on line and although I scrape by it takes me hours and I don't really get it right. I know everyone is having a problem getting through to a dr now but it seems the ones who get angry and demand treatment are put before those who don't want to complain about it.

Up to half an hour in a queue when you call. Have to request a repeat prescription (yes, really!). Have to call 2-3 times to actually get it done, then only two months worth issued. Forget trying to see a Doctor, you can't. Had an issue which involved ukhsa which they ignored. Website out of date.

This surgery goes from bad to worse. Last month I waited 16 days for a repeat prescription to be issued. On the 16th day I ended up going into the surgery and just waiting until a Dr would see me at the end of the surgery to get the prescription issued. This month I've now waited since the 29th April to get repeat prescription. Each time I'm told by the receptionist that they will send a message through to the people that issue the 'scripts, but the prescription never arrives at the pharmacy. Some sort of intervention by the NHS is now needed to save, in my opinion, based on my experience, this failing surgery.

My review would take all day. Short review dip stick test at home urine tract infection, nurse said no just slight yeast infection, but did send off to hospital, had Urine tract infection. This is one of many many complaints where they get things wrong or don’t listen, Including very rude staff. Been there about 30 years, and it has just deteriorated. Hours waiting on phone to get through. I guess writing this is waste of time and no one will be bothered to do anything.

Pharmacy for repeat prescription is very bad .always send wrong medications and this is after 2 weeks waiting for your prescription Few un educated and uncaring receptionist there who rather argue with you then to help you

I called today at after 30mins on hold to only be greeted by the an extremely rude and unhelpful person, she cant assist we must email yet her colleagues also assist. She gave the impression she wishes to do the most minimal work possible. Having also witnessed this whilst in the waiting room I wasn't shocked! 1438 was the time I spoke to this lady. Also the voice message that has been playing for months talks about staff sickness yet this has never been updated. When I advised maybe teh information on teh phone could advise this rather than sickness she hung up...I mean how unprofessional is this lady! You may receive horrible comments that are undeserved however don't let it detracted from your failure to provide a courteous service as this has to be applied both ways! I write here as I realise no action will be taken by the practise manager but felt it should be seen and maybe added to by others.

I put in a request for a repeat prescription 2 weeks ago it wasn’t done despite 5 emails asking why it hasn’t been done and asking if I need to see a doctor and didn’t receive a reply to any of them I phoned the surgery and was booked a medication enquiry phone call with a member of the pharmacy team for 15:15 yesterday no phone call so I waited until 16:00 and called the surgery the receptionist told me I definitely had an telephone consultation booked but they were probably running late … I received no call but when I went to the chemist at 16:30 for another reason they advised me a prescription had come through for myself for the item I ordered in the 14th March . I emailed the pharmacy team again at 17:00 hours asking where and who I can lodge a complaint with but as of now I’ve still not received a reply. Every time I order a prescription for myself or my husband it’s either not done, there’s missing items or the prescription is totally wrong. I thought the pharmacy team gave a duty of care that if they can not issue a prescription they should at least let you know that you need to see a doctor I have been left for 2 weeks with no medication in agony as I have a spinal problem and waiting to see a member of the spinal team after a recent MRI scan they keep reducing the amount of medication they prescribe without me speaking to a GP. The prescription team know it’s very hard to get an appointment to see a doctor but I don’t think they care
