I had an appointment today, I was looking forward to this appointment. I left the clinic frustrated and sad. I just wanted help to find out if I'm in menopause, I wanted to do a blood test as it shows the hormones. The doctor didn't accept it and wanted to start the treatment straight away, I didn't accept it and I thought about it and she suggested medication for depression. detail: He suggested it without knowing my history or previous exams. I don't need medication that makes me addictive or depressed.

Wonderful help from the GP practice today. Went in to ask if we could see a GP as the pharmacist was unable help my son and I wanted to know if he could return to nursery today. The receptionist was very kind and guided me to use the online consult so she could then ask if the GP could look at it. It turned out even better as the GP was able to see my son in person quickly, make a diagnosis and advising on nursery. This was above and beyond what I expected so thank you all very much.

We arrived from a different borough so my son could have an ultrasound. My son (18) approached the counter and said he had an ultrasound. The receptionist asked if he had a form as he couldn't have his appointment without it. I said we hadn't received a form, just a text message. She rudely asked if I had bothered to read the text. I said I had, and explained the text only informed us of the time/place and preparation for the ultrasound. Upon showing the receptionist the text, she said 'Oh it's an ultrasound. You said blood test'. My son and I said that my son had said he was there for an ultrasound. She repeated 3 times, 'I heard blood test', and continued to be condescending. She could have apologised for the misunderstanding on her part, but at no point said sorry. She was very rude.

I took my 7 year old to see the doctor this morning, I cannot praise the doctor enough. She addressed my daughter as soon as we walked through the door and put her completely at ease. She listened carefully and made links with another on going medical issue. Most importantly, she told me to trust my mum gut - music to my ears! Thank you, doctors like this are worth their weight in gold.

Waiting for blood test in reception - young lady clearly in distress at counter - lady behind counter was so sympathetic and went round to the public side to comfort her. Staff consistently good here.
