I was not informed i should have had blood test 3 wks. before i called in to ask how long i needed to take the prescribed iron tabs. Ihad the test on 29th.Aug, was told 3 to 5 days a doc. would ring to tell me if i needed to continue with the tabs.No person rang 10 days later i had to go to the surgery to ask.

I have an appointment every Monday to have the dressing changed on a varicous ulcer. Recently the type of dressing had to be changed, as I had for some unknown reason I developed an allergy to the adhesive on the softpore, which began to leave sore patches around the wound. But thanks to the two observant Nurses I attend, the soreness around the wound was dealt with, through steroid cream and TLC, everything is back to normal and I am on the mend.

Recently had a BP test done. I was surprised at the prompt service I received as a 7.40am appointment. But as for the surgery it's self I have no complaints. All doctors and clinicians I have met look professional in there scrubs. And are professional in service they provide

I attended with my 80 year old, almost blind Mum. I had provided all copies of my POA back in April 2022. Emailed to both the surgery and secretaries, as asked to do so, to addresses provided. Nothing on her records. Unable to speak for her, therefore. Secretary could confirm that they had been received. Nothing conveyed. Mum sent home with new tablets, with instructions of 'Take as advised'. Clearly this was of no use to her. Another trip to the surgery to confirm. One week later when I had returned to Scotland, I receive a request to call in with all 20 pages of POA again. Clearly not possible. Asked to email. I refused as I have been told that they had been received. Receptionist spent some time on the telephone to whomever and returned to say that the Secretary would forward to necessary department. 2 stars given were for the receptionists who did their utmost to sort the farce.

I had a asthma review last week in here. The laidy I meet was well prepared and she know what she was doing. But, I must admit that being asthmatic, and not had a review for more than 2 years, expected to be more than just a talk, like at least a spirometry.

I recently joined the surgery and unfortunately have had to have several visits due to a medical condition and all visits have been exceptional. I have managed to arrange appointments easily and have always been seen within 20 mins of my allocated time. On top of this I have received numerous text messages from the surgery and Dr I saw which has been very much appreciated.

Extremely useful appointment which went ov on all my medicines and made appropriate adjustments to manage my health needs. Not rushed and a very clear positive engagement with health professional.

The Nurse was incredibly efficient and had a great manner. She saved me time next week by bundling my flu jab and a blood pressure check in with the blood test I had gone in for.

Walk in appointment for a shingles Vaccination, a ten minute wait and it was done. Got the flu jab as well. Had there been any in the fridge I'd have had my COVID too but now have to travel to Kingston Crescent for one jab!?.

Having my annual Diabetic review, I have never had such an impersonal in counter with a member of the NHS, there was no pleasantries no general chit chat, no information on what was happening and for what reason. One of my worst experiences with an NHS employee.
