I am diabetic and my blood-sugar is tested at intervals. I was asked to come to the center to give a sample on the 2/09/24. It was completed with extreme care. Three days later I received a call from the surgery to give me a feedback, and to advice how to take control of my increased level of blood glucose. I am very pleased on the way this was done speedily, and the advice offered, and suggestions made for a repeat teast. The preventative approach taken by the surgery rather than the increase of medication is very much appreciated.

Since 2022 I have been diagnosed with serious health issues, which needed hospital referral. The practice took prompt action and referred me to all the relevant health institutions and carried out tests. The medical staff who have seen me at hospitals were impressed by the diagnostic ability and prompt actions taken by the Colville medical professionals. And I am pleased to record my appreciation of the caring approach taken by the Colville Practice. The support staff and the Pharmacists have been friendly and helpful. Through my own experience, I have no hesitation in recommending this practice.

One hears about very long waits for GPs, but my experience this week was very different. I rang my GP and, after being handled by an automatic quesing system, got straight through to a GP and not a receptionist. I was able to explain what the problem was. The GP asked me relevant questions, and a provisional diagnosis established. All within a couple of minutes. A prescription was ordered for me electronically, and by the time I'd dropped off a urine sample, I was notified electronically that the prescription was ready. Test results sent back to me electronically, and a follow up text from the doctor. A very satisfied patient!

I write this review not as a patient but as someone who has witnessed the kindness and great support of Colville Health Centre. My elderly neighbour became unable to care for herself last Spring and with their help she now has daily carers, assisted walking visits, occasional physio and regular home visits from her case officer who monitors her prescription with the GP. It has been so reassuring to know I could contact her case officer if I was worried or concerned about my neighbour and they would always respond. I believe this is an invaluable service to the community and I will always be grateful.

My wife and I are both registered with this practice over a decade. We both found that the care and attention we receive from all, Drs and non- medical, at the Practice is excellent. My wife was recently referred to Hammersmith hospital for further examination, and the consultant there after chcking her health record commented "your GP Practice had done a very good job." As such we both feel that we are with safer hands when the care and health treatments are considered and that we are with a practice that we can rely on. Thank you Coleville.
