I attended cliftonMC 10.11 2.15pm for my scheduled appointment used the self check in service which confirmed my appointment and advised me to take a seat. After 45 minutes I approached the receptionist who told me I was not booked in and that I was at the wrong surgery. The two text messages reminding me of my appointment mentioned nothing about a different venue. My original consultation was at Wickersley, I can think of no reason why I should have known to go elsewhere for the appointment. System fundamentally flawed.

had to go to a walk in centre as no appointments available at clifton lane got help there told by the doctor who I saw my blood pressure was low and to see my gp and to check my leg rang clifton lane told no appointments last week or this week and you can not book a appointment what can we do

The check in machine situated on the desk for your appointment does not work so this means you have to tell the reception desk staff who are usually very busy with calls, if you take a seat then you will miss your appointment as happened to myself with my 92 year old mom today, we sat waiting forty mins until we could get to the desk once reception had a soace between calls, this needs a much better system or the machine fixed!

I have a 6 year old son. He is registered at this doctors. In his 6 years I have never been able to get him seen at this surgery. Every time I call for him I am told there are no appointments. Called yesterday to ask for an appointment as I suspected chicken pox but wanted it confirmed. Was told there were no appointments- was number 1 on the line for 15 minutes. Told to take an unwell 6 year old to the walk in centre or I could take him to the pharmacy. Shocking really that the pharmacy can see a child quicker than his own doctors can. It is mind boggling that he is 6 years old and has never been seen by the doctors he is registered with.

This GP practice is fantastic. We have always managed to get same day appointments when needed without having to justify the reason, which when you have small children particularly, this has been extremely reassuring. Every member of staff that we have encountered, from admin, to doctors, to nurses have been kind, caring and professional. I have total confidence and am really grateful we are registered here.

Spoke today with the doctor on the phone. Although I've never met her she had reviewed my notes for the last ten years to help with a decision about medication. Listened to what I said and responded. Always worried that they will 'fiddle' with my prescriptions because I've spent a lot of time discussing this face to face with my old doctor. I'd be happy to have her as my permanent doctor. Didn't rush and rang close to the start of the time slot given.

Seen by Practice Nurse very helpful and latest phone consultation was good doctor appeared to listen and the conversation was not rushed. Would be better if when you phone you didn’t have to wait almost 2 weeks for an appointment and more face to face appointments are needed.

Went to the surgery to try and book an appointment or possible see the nurse for five minutes regarding a reaction to the covid -19 booster. 16.41 not one person in the surgery, options next appointment 17th October, call 111, go to the Walk in Centre or call at 8:00am tomorrow. I don’t want take up an emergency appointment when someone else’s needs maybe great than mine. Surely sense and reason needs to be applied to this surgery.

It takes so long for reception staff to answer phone and when they do they are either rude or say ring back at 8am the following morning to get any sort of appointment. The staff also make you feel like you have done something wrong when you ring instead of taking responsibility for their poor service. This surgery should be closed down I'm afraid as its not fit for purpose.
