    I have nothing bad to say at all ive had a very good experience each time I have had to go to the GP both at churchill Medical centre and at Ching way Medical centre. Keep up the great work 👍

    The doctor I saw was friendly and professional. Felt comfortable and at ease; was also receptive to any questions I had asked. No white coat syndrome…. Would also like to add friendly and helpful reception staff.

    I am a parent and been very worried about my son’s ear. We saw a specialist who recommended some drops but this occurred just before leaving for holiday. The prescription clerk was lovely and took time to listen to our concerns. She went out of her way to facilitate an emergency prescription to a Welsh pharmacy which was challenging for her as it’s a different system. She followed up with us to check how it had gone, liaised with her pharmacy team and took the time to organise a follow up appointment for us. She was efficient, proactive and ensured the best outcome for my son. Thank you very much and also to the rest of the team including pharmacy, GP and reception who are also working behind the scenes to allow this to happen.

    The practice diabetic nurse is a most wonderful and caring laxy. I'm so pleased she is the one caring for me. She fully supports and encourages me to focus on my healthly options.

  5. Review titled Impossible to get through and book an appointment

    I have tried to make an appointment since last year. I haven’t been referred to a specialist as the GP claimed there was no justification for a referral. This was over the phone consultation. So my symptoms deteriorated significantly and while I was visiting a family member abroad, I was rushed to hospital abroad to have a paid treatment there. This was very stressful. Unfortunately, I resumed my trials to make an appointment this year. So far it has been absolutely impossible. I’m usually 35+ in the waiting list when I call, and the e-consult has been off since beginning of March. I called 111 but they can’t order my blood tests. I thought someone in the practice could give me reasonable advice if I speak to them in person. I went there on Thursday afternoon but the Easter mood had already caught them. I wasn’t able to receive any helpful info. Actually the advice was to take an annual leave and wait there for an appointment. This is unbelievable. I’m looking for recommendations for a better and efficient practice near my area. I’m very worried for my health.

I understand how frustrating it can be to experience long wait times on the phone, especially during peak hours like 8 am when we receive a high volume of calls. We have recently implemented changes to our appointment system, and as a result, we now have a significant number of pre-bookable appointments available. This means that you may not necessarily need to call at 8 am to secure an appointment. Regarding your mention of e-consults, please note that while they are available daily, they may close early depending on the availability of appointments for that day. This is to ensure that we can accommodate patients who contact us through other channels. If you could kindly contact our practice on 020 8430 7020 and ask for me directly, I will be more than happy to assist you.     Today I went to the surgery I am delighted to say the receptionist on duty, was welcoming, pleasant ,smiled, listened, and dealt with my query with empathy. She is a real credit to that surgery, she put me at ease and at no point in a hurry to get rid of me, in fact followed up,on my query whilst I was there. Some of the other receptionists could certainly learn from this lady. t it's so important the receptionists attitude. She certainly deserves recognition for her hard work and caring attitude. Pity I'm unable to name her.

    For the second time running on a Friday, for me, the econsult page hasn't opened at 08:00. Tried repeating for 10 minutes, same. This means joining the 30+ phone call waiting list. How hard would it be to put a message on the econsult page if it is not available on a particular day? The last time this happened the receptionist told me there was a staff meeting. When you can actually make contact the practice service is very good.

I am extremely sorry to hear that there was a purpose for you to complain and would like to assure you that we always try our best to resolve and reflect on every feedback we receive. We aim to keep our eConsult’s available every day until we reach capacity. However, there may be occasions when we need temporarily disable the service due to high demand. In such cases, a message will inform users when trying to use the service. I’m pleased to announce that we have implemented a new phone system to enhance our service and avoid long wait times. If you find yourself waiting on hold for more than 5 minutes, you now have the option to request a call back. Once selected, you will receive a text message allowing you to monitor your queue position, and the system will automatically ring you back when you reach the front of the line. Your feedback is invaluable to us as we strive to improve our services continuously.     I had a consultation with a doctor yesterday. The phone rang exactly on the time I'd been told and the dr I spoke with, regarding my medical conditions and blood test was charming, friendly and helpful. She explained everything I needed to know . It's an excellent practice as I have named my review

    Attended to commence new cycle of contraceptive pill and had arranged to speak woth the nurse regarding this matter. Waited weeks for the appointment to come around. Met with the nurse who stated she could not issue new treatment cycle for the pill, and this would have to be issued by a doctor. Went back to reception who said the nurse must have told me this because she didn't have enough time for my appointment slot as it had been recorded as a 'pill check' which was due to last 10 minutes. Receptionist also said the doctor is not needed to issue the new treatment cycle and the nurse could have done this. Then informed there are no available appointments until January. I work shift work, and find it incredibly difficult to manage other commitments outside of my working time. I had waited weeks for this appointment, for it to then fall through. Receptionist gave me the mobile number for the family planning centre, stating this is probably the wrong number but I'll give it to you anyways. Upon ringing the mobile number, it went was answered by a receptionist of a vetinary surgery. Although a mistake, checks to make sure the right number was given were not made, despite recognition that this could be the case initially. I am now left without a contraceptive until an appointment becomes available in January. I will continue to phone my surgery at 0830 hours on my days off in the off chance of an appointment being available.
