  3. Review titled Great practice, great doctors

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Steve - Posted on 09 June 2023

Have had nothing but good experiences with this practice and it's accommodating doctors. The system of apply online and receive a GP phonecall later for advice or examination in practice is very good, easy to use, have always been seen for more physical concerns, and works very well for same day issues being addressed. The gps are very good with advice and happy to refer to specialised departments elsewhere for more investigations which is fairly quick and always good for peace of mind. Very much recommend this practice! Thank you.

Contacted online via NHS app, all very efficient. Set out my medical issue and the times I could be contacted. Contact was made by phone call at a time I’d stated as convenient. Advice received quickly and efficiently. Would recommend this surgery.

  5. Review titled Caring and compassionate practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Emily Godfrey - Posted on 08 May 2023

An excellent service, particularly as someone who works full time. I was able to communicate via text message, only had to attend in person for tests and all other consultations via phone at a time to suit me. Each member of staff I spoke to or saw we're both caring and compassionate. The GP listened, was keen to understand what I wanted out of the appointment and we mutually agreed the next steps.

  6. Review titled Best Practice ever.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I will be 62 this year and have reached the point where fairy frequent visits to my GP Practice are necessary. The online system for requesting appointments is intuitive and call backs from a doctor are always very prompt. The range of services and staff specialisms is impressive. Staff are professional and very kind. I really cannot speak highly enough of the care I have received and continue to receive. Well done all at Churchfields. You are a shining credit to your profession. Thank you!!!

  7. Review titled Considerate and Compassionate

Rated 5 stars out of 5

During my visit, the Dr. was incredibly considerate and compassionate, and ensured that I was comfortable during my appointment. They took into account my prior records and used these to mass a complete picture of what might be causing my symptoms. This thorough analysis made me feel comforted with my diagnosis.

Speedy diagnosis of heart failure has enabled another year of being well and hopefully more to come. Medications issued promptly with no problems and appointments when necessary. Referral to cardiology and follow ups have all been very smooth and no major delays

  9. Review titled Telephone

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Kathleen Houghton - Posted on 12 December 2022

On The whole I do have to say the surgery is great and the staff do go above and beyond but on this occasion. I’m very disappointed in them and that I had to wait over 30 minutes for them to pick the phone up after being number one in the queue. This is not acceptable. Yes times are difficult and staff could be of sick but telephone calls should be answered in a far less time. Also it would be nice if staff gave their name when they are speaking to the patient maybe this could be discussed at one of the staff meetings

  10. Review titled fantastic surgery

Rated 5 stars out of 5

as an NHS worker myself i appreciate the strains the NHS as a whole is under at present. i have been unfortunate enough to need to be on the receiving end of needing healthcare recently and i cannot fault Churchfields Surgery at all. i submitted an online request via NHS app and had a text reply to inform me of a telephone call with a PA the next day. This telephone consultation was friendly and professional and gave me information needed to manage my acute problem. a prescription was electronically sent to a pharmacy of my choice and i have no concerns over the surgery's ability to deal with primary care issues. i am happy to wait for a few weeks for non urgent issues and feel the culture of amazon click and demand culture should not be expected of primary care. with fewer GPs and practice nurses across the NHS, i feel they are like swans, trying to be seen as calm on the surface and paddling away like crazy under the water to keep a safe service, that is under funded.
