    Called up was offered either a face to face of telephone consultation by a very helpful friendly receptionist. When I spoke to the doctor she listened to my concerns and was very reassuring. I did not feel hurried in any way.

  4. Review titled sick note takes forever

    I asked for a sick note. It took over a week with no one getting back to me. Each time I called, the receptionist keep telling me its not been done. Cant even get to speak to a doctor. I was pregnant and was feeling nauseous and weak. The receptionist are not friendly and helpful.

    I have given up with trying to contact them on the phone. After a number of instances being on hold for over 30mins, I am convinced there is not anyone manning phones after 8.30am

    thank you for your comments. We value feedback as we use this to improve our services. the phones have been very busy and are manned throughout the day from 8am to 6:30pm we are looking at changing our current telephone provider which hopefully will make a more user friendly experience

    We've been with this GP for 6 years now and it was quite good at the start but going worse and worse each year. Yesterday I decided to leave them as the reception staff is very unfriendly and disrespectful and similar for the new doctors. We had to wait for 20 min with a sick child for a doctor to finish her private phone call and when I mentioned that visit is delayed she wouldn't even say sorry. She looks like she's straight from the Uni so they must teach disrespect already there... It takes 30-45 min on average to get through to the reception and most of the reception staff couldn't care less. We had to wait close to 10 min to be checked in cause the receptionist had more important things to do than dealing with a queue of people and then we were told we can't be seen cause we are late (!). Last year my son was misdiagnosed when he had an eye infection - GP ignored it saying it's nothing we took him to the hospital anyway and they prescribed antibiotics (Lucky!). As mentioned in other reviews nurses are very cold and unfriendly too - can't even deal with a child having an injection, to be honest, they can't even manage a smile. Chatfield Health Care from good GP practice became a disgrace.

We use all feedback both positive and negative to look at ways of improving our services and patient experience. I will be carrying out and investigation looking at all the points you have raised.     The staff are Chatfield are excellent. There are 2 new members of staff in the reception team who are very kind and caring along with the older staff. The care coordinator is very compassionate and has helped me a lot. The doctors are really good and involve you in your care. I never feel rushed and I get a face to face appointment without any problems. This practice provides very good care in challenging times
