    Booking was easy and convenient. I did the online form which put my mind to rest that my problem wasn't urgent or anything to worry about. I got a phone call from a lovely lady doctor who was very helpful and understanding . Also very impressed that a few weeks ago I got a message to book my flu vaccination for a Saturday morning which is ideal as I work during the week. I recommended Central Road Medical to my friends when they tell me about their poor experiences of other doctors as everyone at is always so kind and helpful.

    I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at this Surgery. I had a test done on July 26, 2024, and after waiting for a week for the results, I decided to call the surgery. Each time I called, I was met with rudeness by the receptionist and told that the results were not available yet. Frustrated, I reached out to the hospital directly, only to find out that the results had been sent to the surgery on July 31, 2024. Yet, no one told me. I called the surgery again and spoke to a receptionist who seemed completely clueless about the situation. After a frustrating ten minutes of searching, she finally located the results and scheduled a telephonic appointment with the doctor to discuss the results. However, when the doctor called back, he informed me that he didn’t have the results on his system. This entire experience has been nothing short of appalling and disgusting. The lack of communication and professionalism at this surgery is unacceptable. The reception team needs to be replaced as soon as possible. The receptionist are not empathic at all towards a patient's situation.

Without your details we are unable to look into the specific issues that you raise regarding obtaining your test results. Please note that the practice receives test results throughout the day and where a patient has had multiple tests the results may not all be received back at the surgery at the same time or on the same day. The NHS App as a helpful and convenient way for patients to view their test results online. This app helps them to know when results are back and if any further follow up is required so that this may be arranged. The practice will normally only contact patients if a result is of concern or if further follow up or action is required. More information about the NHS App can be found at www.nhs.uk/nhs-app. We hope that any future contacts with the practice are a more positive experience and if you would like to discuss your specific case in more detail please contact the practice directly.     I contacted the surgery in the morning regarding a ‘personal problem’, and the doctor told me to come in that afternoon. Soon later he rang back and told me to go instead to the GUM clinic at St. Helier Hospital, as they had a walk-in clinic. So off I went, but … there is no walk-in clinic. There has not been one since Covid. More than three years before. I would have thought that a doctor would have been aware of that! When I eventually got the tests done, very efficiently, I rang the surgery to get the results. I was given an appointment time, but … guess what? No call back at the appointed time! I waited more than an hour before calling back, and was than informed that the doctor (a different one) had cancelled the appointment - without informing me! - but would call back in the afternoon. Thanks for letting me know! Eventually I spoke to a third doctor, who was excellent, and even agreed to a face to face appointment! For this surgery, one out of three is probably the best you can expect.

    Dear Jeff, Thank you for taking the time to provide your review and we are sorry to hear of the circumstances around the clinic at St Helier no longer being available when you attended. Our team endevour to remain up to date with regards to other clinics and services and we have reminded everyone to double check about the opening times and locations of other clinics before directing patients to attend them. We are sorry to hear that you did not receive your telephone consultation at the exact time you were expecting. Our reception team normally provide patients with a time window as to when to expect a call rather than provide an exact specific time. This is because the the clinician may get held up with other patients who are booked for telephone consultations or who are being seen in person face-to-face. We are pleased to hear that you found the doctor who you had a telephone consultation with and subsequently saw to be excellent and that you were happy with their care and the outcome. We are sorry that not everything went right for you on this occasion and thank you for taking the time to write your review and if you would like to discuss this further please contact the practice.     In London it is often difficult to find a gp surgery that genuinely cares about you as a patient but I have had nothing but a positive experience at the central medical centre. The reception staff are always quick to respond to my queries and book me appointments. The practitioners I work with take their time with me and always make me feel like they genuinely care about my well being and do not rush through appointments. A wonderful service throughout

    I attended the practice on Saturday 4th Feb 2023 for an appointment with a nurse for a smear test. I was feeling a little nervous about my appointment but she was amazing at making me feel calm and at ease about the smear. She made sure I was completely ready before carrying it out and made sure I didn't have any questions or worries before she did anything. She knew I was a bit nervous and so took her time and explained everything to me and made sure I was comfortable throughout. A lovely lady, kind, compassionate and really put my mind at ease.
