    I went there to ask a simple question, where the blood test room was. She replied in a rude way saying ‘you need to check in first’ i felt so bad with the way she said it. Following conversation were also very rude and direct ‘giving me expressions which were unfriendly and intimidating’ This is my first time having blood test with castle in the ‘new’ walk in way, some people are expected to not know how to have it done & expect a helpful attitude for those who are in the responsibility to guide patients such as the receptionist. I am really disappointed by the lack of manner from the receptionist today and also no greetings from her. I am now thinking i wouldnt have been treated this way if i was a ‘white’person & didn’t have a foreign accent, atleast the receptionist would have got some kind of deserving response if it was a white patient. Why such inequality in a GP practice? This is shameful. Can you look into this please?She is white middle aged woman, didnt have a name badge so i couldn’t specify her name.

    I was able to get an urgent appointment on the day to check an infection, even though I had seen the GP for a routine appointment the day before. Infection was confirmed and a short course of antibiotics prescribed. Despite improvement, the infection returned and another urgent same day appointment needed and a further longer course of antibiotics was prescribed. I was impressed with how both doctors listened to me, talked though their diagnosis and treatment options with me with thoughtful explanations. I am very grateful for their care and kindness and would also like to thank the entire support team of receptionists and phlebotomists etc who make this such a good GP practice.

    I was impressed by the way in which my GP, who was meeting me for the first time, was able to home in on key aspects of my medical history and set forth a programme for my short-term treatment. My first priority was to find out whether I could be assessed regarding the possibility of the presence of prostate cancer. The GP set that in progress immediately but she also detected an abnormally high blood pressure level - that is also being tackled as well as my overdue bowel cancer examination. All of this was done by her during a 20-minute appointment and with great empathy for me, her new patient. I am very grateful.

    Receptionist very friendly and helpful on checking in. No long wait to see GP. GP very caring and professional, sorting out problem very efficiently. I have always found this practice to be a joy to deal with.

    I felt the response positively from Gp to all of my requests and demands and taking action immediately instead of rebooking for blood taking or so Phone call from the GP two hours after informing about the action will be taken further was another follow up engagement which I greatly appreciated

    Appointment booked and arranged with time taken off work for this. On arrival, I was taken in to see the HCA for bloods who then realised the GP had no yet authorised them despite me having confirmed a letter should have been reviewed requesting these bloods from a different GP over a month before. What a waste of time.

    The practice nurse who did my cervical screening was excellent. She was really friendly and reassuring, and put me at ease, which is just what is needed for a procedure which can feel awkward and uncomfortable.

    Having had little reason to need to have contact with the practice until recently, my family have have a number of contacts of the past few months for various reasons. Our experience has been that the reception staff are efficient and polite, and have directed our query appropriately and all contact with a variety of clinical staff has been professional, reassuring and caring. In a time that has been testing for us as a family the help has been much appreciated. Too all staff, you may feel you are just doing your job but for our family it has been of great help. Thank you.
