In March 2024, I requested a medical fitness certificate and was informed that I would need to pay in cash upon collection. At the time, I was told that certificates were only available for in-person pickup, with no online option. In October 2024, I requested another medical fitness certificate and was told that I now had to pay upfront, in cash, with no alternative payment options. Additionally, I would be placed on a three-week waiting list once payment was made. When I asked about this change, I was informed that the practice had updated their policy. I explained that I no longer live in the area, making it inconvenient to visit the practice twice—once to pay and again to collect the certificate. This would require me to take time off work for a process that would take less than a minute each time. However, my request for accommodation was denied. When I followed up by phone, I was told the policy change was due to many certificates being left uncollected. They also mentioned that while payment must be made in person, the certificate could be sent online. I also pointed out that there are alternative providers who can request the certificate on my behalf. These providers are more affordable and offer a fully online process. However, the practice showed no concern or willingness to address this. I have several concerns: 1 - Why is there no alternative payment method other than cash? 2 - Why was I given inconsistent information—initially being told certificates could only be collected in person, then later informed they could be sent online? 3 - Why has the practice been so inflexible and unhelpful in addressing these issues?

Alternative Payment Methods: I acknowledge that offering alternative payment methods, such as card or online payments, would be more convenient. Your feedback on this matter has been noted, and I will raise this with the team to explore whether we can introduce more flexible payment options in the future. 2. Inconsistent Information Regarding Collection and Online Delivery: I apologise for the confusion regarding the collection of certificates. Our policy has recently changed due to a high number of certificates being left uncollected. To ensure better management of these requests, we now require payment upfront to confirm the processing of certificates. While it was previously required that certificates be collected in person, we have since updated our process to allow for online delivery once the payment has been made. It seems there was a misunderstanding when you initially requested the certificate, and I sincerely apologize for any frustration this caused. We will ensure our staff are better informed to provide consistent and accurate information moving forward. 3. Flexibility and Customer Service: We regret that the practice’s policy has caused you inconvenience; especially given that you are no longer living in the area. While we must follow certain procedures to ensure fairness and consistency for all patients, we understand that this has created challenges in your case. Unfortunately, at this time, we are unable to process payment remotely or offer exceptions. However, I want to assure you that we are continuously reviewing our processes to find ways to improve, and your experience will certainly help inform these discussions. Next Steps: If you still require the certificate and are unable to visit the practice twice, I recommend looking into alternative providers, as you mentioned. However, if you do choose to proceed with our practice, please reach out and we will do our best to streamline the process as much as possible within our current policies. Male doctor not caring, unhelpful and unprofessional. Without listening to patients’ questions, he was only able to repeat already-known generic guidelines in an impatient way to hear patients.

I usually go this GP and unfortunately I always had issues. ( I have a heart condition since when I was born and the last time I’ve been there they told me that I’m healthy and I don’t need any check) Today I had an appointment with a new nurse . Ps. Unfortunately I can’t write any name but she’s the best! She was the best nurse I never had! Really helpful, professional, she listened to me and to all my needs. Really impressed :) Thank you! You made my day!

My wife contacted 111 at the weekend with severe flu symptoms and a cough incl. shortness of breath. 111 recommended she see a GP. So we contacted Cassidy and they would only offer a telephone appointment where she was asked to examine her own lymph nodes. Doctor on phone was unable to diagnose so finished the call by saying she would "need to speak to a senior doctor". My wife was not contacted for 6 hours so we called the practise back ourselves. The junior doctor then said "good news, everything is fine, you just have the flu". Rest and drink fluids. 24 hours later her condition worsened further so we had to pay to privately see a GP whom quickly diagnosed severe pneumonia and informed her she was 24 hours away from requiring hospital admission. The private GP with a private prescription, has since prescribed the correct antibiotic and my wife is slowly recovering. This has been a totally unacceptable incident, we have unfortunately experienced similar issues with our 4 year old daughter where we have needed to wait at Chelsea & Westminster A&E for 4 hours simply to get a basic antibiotic after many days of fever and persistent cough.

I did an ultrasound scan. The hospital sent the results 2 days later. Yet it took Cassidy Medical Centre 2 weeks to get them. Emails sent by the hospital were ignored in multiple occasion despite me calling the practice every 2-3 days to check progress. It is unacceptable that patients’ needs are neglected due to bureaucratic inefficiencies.

- the medical center is clearly understaffed with long waiting times to make an appointment over the phone. - also the booking appointment system on dr iq is very inefficient with (very) limited options to book an e-consultation. - I sent an email (to 2 email addresses provided by the medical center itself) more than a week ago with some documents attached requesting (from another GP) an urgent blood test. I haven't received any answer from them so far. - it is not the only bad experiences I had with this medical center as I had to re-do a blood test in the past because it was not properly handled. -> I would avoid this medical center and check if other medical centers in Fulham accept new patients

Had blood tests done and was told it was gonna be followed up with a cholesterol gene test and being referred to the heart people as I have high cholesterol and the doctor said I don’t and my sister had two heart attacks and has angina and I was told was going to be referred Which I have evidence on my phone and nothing has happened. How is possible when I rang up about my results? He told me my cholesterol was a bit high but it’s high and I have a genetic problem with cholesterol and then the doctor asked me why did I have the blood test done , you mean why look at my file? Be a problem when I drop down dead because my sister has these problems and I was meant to get checked to make sure I don’t very unhappy about this
