    Been trying for two years to get a face to face appointment with a doctor. Every time I call or try to fill in an on-line form the best I can get either 1. We are very busy and are not taking calls. 2. We are very busy and the on-line form is not available 3. Someone will call you back 4. Someone does call back but it's never a gp, at best, a nurse. 5. We don't think you need a face to face appointment. 6. We are very busy, if you go to the Minor Injuries Unit at the hospital they have doctors. There is no continuity with the alleged 'care' provided. To those who you do speak to, they should review your past medical history but with some of the questions I've been asked, I don't know if that is the case.

    I attended Homecroft Surgery Illogan Cornwall at 8.50am on Sat 12 Oct for my Covid and Flu jab. There were at least 30 people ahead of me in the queue but due to the excellent organisation of the NHS team, I received my injections within ten minutes. As I commented to one of the staff, “this is like a well oiled machine.” Well done to you all and keep up your great work!

    I have received appointments without delay. There was a problem with my prescription (item prescribed was out of stock), this was quickly rectified, I requested an alternative via Klinik app at 08.30 and received a text from gp at 15.07 advising me that a prescription for the alternative item had been sent to the local pharmacy. I collected the prescription at my local pharmacy at 16.30. Excellent.

    The telephone call I had in the morning, was a lovely voice, not rushing me and very gentle. Just what I needed. Then whe I got to Carn to Coast in the afternoon, I received the same treatment from both the receptionist and the dr. No rushing, and was so kind. Thank you.

    I needed advice about access to doctor re my comorbid health probs. Care coordinator phoned me and within a couple of hours phoned back with outcome, which resulted in meds being prescribed and pharmacy asked to prioritise, and they delivered within 2 hours. Care coordinator was caring and very professional. Thanks

    Generally I’m sure most of our experiences are the same and that’s we don’t have enough time with a GP due to them being so busy. Today I had a phone call consultation with a locum who went against the grain. He had time to talk to me, didn’t rush me, and made me feel like I wasn’t a problem. I’m sure for the rest of the day all his phone calls will be late however I appreciate the fact he actually gave me time. Not only this sometimes I feel GPs can try and force you down a route they “think” is right without actually fully listening to what you say, again this GP did nothing of the sort. He was calm, friendly, incredibly patient. Hopefully I will come across him again as it was genuinely a pleasure and super refreshing.

    I made a request for an appointment at Homecroft Surgery online via Klinik. 24 hours later I was being seen by a nurse practitioner, who is referring my problem to a specialist. The nurse practitioner was kind and efficient. Excellent experience.

    Appointment with s j . Very professional and made my visit relaxed and comfortable. I didn't feel rushed even though I can talk the hind legs off donkey but I wasn't made to feel like I had overstayed my welcome :) sj demonstrated the way to use the Mounjaro pen and that made my first attempt really easy. Face to Face appointments 18th July - s j .... Demo Mounjaro Pen - see above 10/10 24th June - z j .... Blood Tests - not a mark left - 10/10 3rd June - b s ... Blood Test again not a mark - 10/10 Showed great compassion when discussing my sons suicide in 2021 and offered help if I ever felt I needed it. 13th May - l h ... Correctly diagnosed gout after years of painful bouts. 11/10 All of the above nurses very professional and caring. Much Love Mounjaro Phil x
