My phone call was answered almost immediately today. I was very impressed with that. Even more so when I was offered an appointment with the nurse for just 35 minutes later. On arriving at the surgery, I heard my name being called just as I had sat down. The nurse was great. Putting my mind at rest almost immediately. I didn't feel at all rushed either. Thank you Canford Heath Group Practice. All round excellent friendly, helpful service.

I had meniscus injury after skiing- tried conservative management at home. However, struggling to sleep because of the pain but physiotherapist who examined clinically not empathetic at all. Just asked me to take me pain relief. The reason why I book in to get referred to MSK team, get outpatient MRI knee and some pain relief like naproxen which requires prescription. He refused for me to be referred to MSK team neither even offer me any prescriptions for analgesia. I have done my own conservative management at home but clearly struggling that why I booked in. I have wasted my time seeing a physiotherapist - who clearly doesn’t even know how to treat a patient with pain. I am extremely disappointed with the service I got.

I can see that you were seen by a Poole North Primary Care Network Service which is hosted by Canford Heath Group Practice (i.e. the service uses a room in our practice), rather than run by us.
