I have now gone private with bupa because of this shambles of a surgery. Nobody responds ,no answer on the phones, Reception took nearly 4 months to reply back with a letter from my doctor to send to my bupa doctor. Useless service

I spoke to a receptionist yesterday who was incredibly helpful. I had a face to face appointment today and the GP was incredibly reassuring, professional and helpful. I really felt listened to.

Review titled Painful Experience waiting for someone to answer the phone
Rated 1 star out of 5

My elderly mother is a patient of this surgery and I have currently been holding for 1hour and two minutes. My mother has been discharged for hospital and requires an increased strength to one of her tablets but without talking to the surgery to get the doctor to approve she is unable to get the tablet. After One hour and five minutes I have just received and automated message to inform me that I am in a queue of over thirty. Really!!! After an hour on the phone. Absolutely diabolical service!!!! Should be forced to close until they can prove that they can actually provide a service.

Review titled Unhappy with appointment availability
Rated 3 stars out of 5

I called into reception to make an appointment to see someone, I have a painful lump on my back. The first appointment I could have was on 7th November in three weeks time. The receptionist did say to contact again if it got worse. Today I tried to make an earlier appt ad another small lump has developed only to be told that the date couldn't be changed and to take painkillers, despite what the other receptionist had said. Very frustrating! I would however like to commend your diabetic staff who are very caring and efficient, with blood test reminders etc. being sent when due.
