    The whole system is bad. Tried ringing, put into a queue (always 6th in line)and get cut off when down to second, so I make a special trip to speak to the receptionist. I'm told I have to use the website. I find the website, log in and request to see someone. Nobody could be bothered to give a response. Tried to get back on the site to ask again and can't get back in. I've had a problem which got worse, taken into hospital for a week been out for about 3 weeks, still not seen a GP and have had zero interest from the centre.

    Yesterday, they were so patient and friendly and efficient on the phone, twice. Even though my query was far from straightforward. I also find it much easier using the Ask My GP service, far less fraught

    I have had a need to use askmygp three times in the past two months. Each time I have have a response in an acceptable time. I put a request on 28th had a call back at 5:30 and saw a medic at 9:45 the next day. Shame I cannot name him because he was attentive, compassionate and had a lovey manner about him. The receptionists have been very helpful with our family when we have made enquires, even calling us back to update us. They are under extreme pressure and it won’t stop whilst all the house building is going on unless they can get more GPS

    I used ask my GP to order a prescription for my painful bowel disease I had a message to say it had been dealt with The following day I called the pharmacy they said they had no prescription for me I called the surgery and 20 minutes later to be told it hasn't gone through and to call back at 5.30 if I hadn't had a message. I called again but no reply so I gave up. Another night of pain and no prescription so I'll need to try all over again from work!!! So much for paying NI for over 40 years.

    Hal way through day three, still no call back or contact from surgery. Spent 30 minutes in telephone queue yesterday pm and managed to move from position 30 in the queue right down to position 24 but then needed to do some work so eeded to hang up. Tried again today and am currently number 6 in queue despite waiting 20 minutes so far. When oh when will this ever get better?

    Haven't been seen within 6+ days of raising an 'AskmyGP' request only to be told I'll be contacted. Shockingly abysmal service, although staff were polite and friendly on the phone, even though they couldn't help me.

    I phoned for an appointment on May 26th and was told they had all arrangements had gone and to call again on May 30th which I did only to be told I would receive a call from the Doctor in a couple of days. Still waiting for a call today June 2nd.

    I contacted ask my gp through surgery as could make it work on line, that was 29th May, up to now no appointment ? I have rang x 2 and went to surgery x2 regarding this, last time today at Berrow , I have been down graded apparently to routine, in needing to discuss heart echocardiogram, which gp has looked at and deemed it normal, which is worrying as was informed at time of echo,of problem and advised my gp would follow up with me, and can clearly see on patient access that I have 2 heart valve problems, and would really like to discuss this as very worrying, what's happening with this practice?

    Dear Mrs Hooper Thank you for your comments and I am sorry there was a delay in us responding to you. The aim is we make contact with our patients within 72 hours. This may not be to provide an appointment, but to give them an update. I can confirm all our requests are triaged by a Clinician on day 1, and most urgent conditions are contacted the same day. The others are prioritised, based on a clinical need. So whilst I understand the delays are frustrating, this is a much safer approach for our patients and more effective than asking you to call back tomorrow.     Spoke with reception on two occasions 24 hours apart and no doctor available, contacted NHS England to get doctor to respond. I believe that the situation is untenable. Avoid

    After being reminded I had to make an appointment for a follow up with the doctor who requested the follow up, i phoned the surgery to make an appointment knowing I wouldn’t get to see this doctor and I was proven right, I could not get an appointment even though this doctor requested this and it’s on my records. I was told in an aggressive way that I shouldn’t have been given this advice, first of all it wasn’t advice, I was reminded to do this. I was told I could see another doctor, now why would I see another doctor when The doctor who originally dealt with my health problems, of which a hospital visit was needed requested the follow up with him. I then asked when would this doctor be available, It was suggested I phone in a few weeks. I found the receptionist rude, aggressive in her reply. There seems to be no compassion. I know I’m not the only one. There’s more receptionists than any other member of staff and the majority seem to walk around with nothing to do. I was sat in the waiting room yesterday with a clear sight behind the main reception and there was a girl on her mobile, I mean come on. Maybe you should have no mobiles during working hours. The surgery is just a joke.
