Thank you very much for taking the time to give us such positive feedback we are continually looking to improve our service to serve you better. We know that at times we do not meet our high standards, however we are constantly trying to improve both the experience and outcomes for our patients and for our tireless teams in the constraints we work within the NHS. We would be ever so grateful if you could contact us directly for ideas on how we can improve how we help support you and our wider community in most need. You may also wish to consider joining our Patient Participation Group. We are constantly striving to improve and part of this will involve introducing digital ways to provide a safe and personalised service to our patients based on need and would love your help in in providing as many appointments as possible. Again thank you for the kind words it means a lot to our hard working and sometimes tired teams as we try to do our best to be a compassionate and efficient service to all our patients and the communities we serve. 2. Review titled Much more efficient than it was

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Aideen Carter - Posted on 08 October 2023

Attended for flu and covid jabs. All staff happy, helpful and efficient. I also had another issue in September, which was handled very efficiently and satisfactorily, taking all the stress out of the situation. Thanks to all the staff.

My husband and I both had Covid and flu vaccines at the surgery. We were early but treated immediately. The staff were friendly and professional and the whole process was very efficient

I had the covid boost and flu jabs together sept 2023. As usual the reception, organisation and delivery of the jabs was handled efficiently, friendly and within the time indication. I have only returned to the uk since 2020 and they have been excellent in all respects

  6. Review titled Super Clinic

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Norman - Posted on 05 October 2023

Recently visited the surgery for annual Flu/COVID clinic. Arriving early I was thinking I would have to wait but the efficiency of the staff registering and administering the injections was second to none. You have a very efficient service, well organised. Pre clinic communication re transport and access was also excellent.

I thought the flu/covid vaccination session on 28 September was well handled and organised. We had a lift to the clinic which was better than trying to park at the rear.

  8. Review titled Wonderful support

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 22 August 2023

I cannot praise the surgery team enough. I recently contracted Covid and bilateral pneumonia and was hospitalised. The team went above and beyond for me whilst I was at home and continued their support via message whilst in the hospital, ensuring all areas of my needs were being met and guiding where to receive help from when needed as my needs are more complicated than most. Since my discharge both my GP and nurse have supported my ongoing needs fully and with compassion and will continue to do so over the coming days. Most of this was done without my request and goes to show how much the Burlington Primary Care team care for their patients. I have been with them my entire life and continue to be grateful for everything they do for me and the effort they put in to securing the safety and wellbeing of their patients.

  9. Review titled Worst experience

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 19 July 2023

The waiting time is atleast an hour in the morning 8 to10 am(when it is usually urgent). I was in acute pain, the doctor prescribed me the medicine in the morning and i then understand that it has not been signed by the doctor and the medicine can be collected from pharmacy only after 5pm. In an urgent situation and acute pain, so the entire day i need to wait for the medicine.

I am sorry to learn that your experience was poor. We have recently installed a new telephone system that at busy times (when there is a call queue of more than ten patients) will offer you the option of call back to save you waiting in the call queue. I have also taken the opportunity to remind clinicians that any 'acute' scripts of this nature should be referred to the duty doctor so that they can be signed urgently. I am sorry that you needed to wait unnecessarily. Please contact me directly if you would like this individually investigated. Kind regards Sharon Meers, Practice Manager

  10. Review titled Dreadful

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 24 April 2023

Myself and my whole family have been with this practices for multiple decades but are all now looking at going else where because of how ridiculous it is here. You call at 8am to try and get through and that’s a joke in it’s self by the time you get through it’s 10am and there’s no appointments and I’m not talking about trying 1 or 2 times I’m talking constantly pressing call. How are patients supposed to get help and appointments when your phone lines have no capability of answering calls? My friend has a brain condition, had a seizure ended up in a&e was advised by the a&e doctor to get an appointment with her doctor the following day and all they said when she called was were having a half day call back tomorrow??? The online appointments might as well not exist because they’re all for 3 weeks time. When you eventually do get an appointment it’s a phone call where the doctor is either great or doesn’t know what’s wrong with you so does nothing at all which I have experienced. Very rarely you actually manage to go into the practise. It’s just honestly getting ridiculous now and if I’m honest I can’t wait to get into a new doctors.
