Review titled Terrible service
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Robyn - Posted on 28 May 2024
Women on reception are so unprofessional, talk to you like dirt when you ask for an appointment for a comment back, face to face or telephone?! I was unsure so said so and then asked what my condition was, said shoulder pain and then got a remark, telephone then?! They ask for people to not speak to them disrespectfully, but where is the patience and compassion from them? I’ve seen old men and woman spoke to the same and especially people with English as a second language. It’s absolutely disgusting. The dr I saw was new and I explained my condition and history and her reply, what do you want? Shouldn’t a dr be suggesting options to me? Terrible service and ill be looking to move elsewhere

Review titled Inadequate Booking System
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Darren - Posted on 13 December 2023
You are asked to make appointments for the same day, from 08:30, so you phone up at 08:30 and 08:31 and 08:32 only for the message to tell you the practice is closed... no phone queuing system is present. At about 08:40 through to 09:00 you try to phone repeatedly to just get an engaged tone in reply - no phone queuing system is present. At 09:02 you get through to the system and press option 1 to book appointments to be told there's now nothing left for the day and your option to see a GP at the practice is to try again tomorrow. I don't see the point of this system other than to drive patients away from the practice.

Review titled Hopefully leaving this practice
Rated 1 star out of 5

Contacted the GP regarding this months prescription, I was informed that my 28 day prescription should last me 56 days and I "must" be taking too much - Which if that was thought about for a second, it doesn't make sense. An honest mistake can happen, I can let that go but instead of double checking, thinking it through and then informing me of what I asked - It was assumed the computer would answer all the questions and I must be at fault, not the magic box in front of them. When a simple enquiry turns into an overwhelmingly frustrating conversation, especially regarding your health, it's time to find somewhere else to for your care.

Review titled I don't recommend this practice
Rated 1 star out of 5

Tried calling over 141 times, no answer, line busy or " queue is now full please try again later" and when you actually get through keeps ringing for over 15min and no answer from they side, this is why a&e gets a lot of pressure, because health centres like this. This is so frustrating. This is been like this for years, but somehow is getting worse to get an appointment via call or face to face. They also mention "abuse to staff " they don't tolerate that but seriously how do they expect people to not get stressed/annoyed over this? This needs to change.
