Pleased with the minor surgery treatment under your doctors, as well as the attention of staff in organising the appointment. Procedure was efficient and comfortable, recovery smooth and quickly as indicated.

Review titled Excellent GP practice for minor surgery. Painless.
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Mr SC - Posted on 04 September 2024
I was referred for minor surgery to remove moles/tags that had become painful. The team of GP partner and a very skilled Physician Associate were great from start to finish. They gave me ample reassurance about the procedure, info about aftercare, and made the mole removals as painless as possible. They alleviated any stress about undergoing minor surgery. Great patient care!

Review titled Wonderful Customer Service
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Sophie - Posted on 19 June 2024
I didn’t get her name, but the blonde woman working at the front desk on the afternoon of 19th June was beyond helpful and kind to me when I was having a panic attack. She took the time to help me and talk me through what I needed to do when I wasn’t sure and really calmed me down - I was so grateful for her kindness especially as she was dealing with back to back enquiries but could see that I was distressed and took the time to help me. Thank you so, so much - this kind of service really means a lot to people, even more so after sitting in the waiting area for a while as you can see/hear how much the staff have to deal with - constantly one thing after the other - yet still provide wonderful service like this.

I had minor surgery recently, and was impressed by the doctor. She explained the procedure very clearly, and there was very little discomfort. She gave care and consideration during the time I was there.

Review titled Great practice but long waiting times to be seen
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 19 March 2024
I had an appointment on the 11th of March and had to wait over 1 hour to be seen by the GP and was extremely sick. The same happened to my husband this morning. He booked an appointment at 8:10 and at 8:40 had to leave practice because had to send kids to school. I may understand that when is an afternoon appointment the doctor may run late but at 8 in the morning camon is lack of professionalism. The practice has to work around long waiting lists, as all those people waiting may infect each other.

Review titled Minor surgery clinic
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Hilary Bruce - Posted on 01 March 2024
Two days ago, two staff members removed quite a large sebaceous cyst from my neck. My treatment during the procedures was wholly professional, kind and thoughtful. I knew exactly what was being done when it was done, and why. There was no pain. And I have just the neatest of stitches. Day after the op, slight soreness, today, no pain, soreness, swelling nor redness. I am extremely grateful to the doctors and the practice for relieving me of a most unappealing feature that, after having annoyed me for nigh on 40 years, has now gone.

Had second surbaceous cyst removed a fortnight ago. Same professional and patient-friendly service. Longer procedure this time but accompanied by same reassuring attention as before. Wound healed nicely now. Thank you Brondesbury!

Review titled New Booking System
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 03 January 2024
Went to book doctors appointment. Receptionist said we have new system now you have to do it online. When I said I wasn’t online he said so down wait till I see these people. 15 mins later he came out to a computer on wall in waiting room which was in full view of everyone and asked me to describe my symptoms in full and entered them in computer. Why can’t receptionist do this at desk in privacy is it a new way to relieve boredom of patients in waiting room so they forget how long they are waiting. This is discrimination against elderly and disabled and should be changed

Dear Patient, Thank you for your feedback and I am sorry that this has been your experience. The reason for using the touch screen is to show patients how easy it can be to complete our online form, the questions asked are the same as those that would be asked at the desk. If anyone has genuine reasons for not being able to complete the form a member of the reception team will do so for them over the phone or at the desk. Many thanks Practice Manager

Review titled Very patient-friendly practice
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Baz Hurrell - Posted on 05 December 2023
Had a surbaceous cyst removed today. The Doctor was very pleasant and gave a full and very helpful description of the procedure beforehand and gave me a copy of After Care instructions. She very skillfully kept me chatting and very quickly it was all done. It's not all doom and gloom at the NHS - at least not at the Brondesbury.
