Been trying to get in touch for several hours now phone was ringing 30-40mins each time no answer!! tried via the app but doesn’t have the brockwell option for your doctors location I also had a problem with them in the past waiting 5month! For a appointment i am now sick of trying to get intouch with them just to book a appointment , i am shocked at how they are still a available practice after what people have been through absolutely shocking to call them a docotors! I do not recommend at all!

Tried to make an appointment for daughter and found it impossible. Tried using the app first which said no appointments available. Called and once past the various recorded messages and menu options I was on hold for 20mins. Before I had to hang up. Rang back later to be on hold for and 30mins, still no answer. Rang 3rd time and was on hold for 45mins before giving up. Rang 111 and they sorted an appointment immediately. When I spoke to receptionist about the wait I was told it was a Monday and could expect to wait upto 80mins before calls are answered. Shambles, have they only 1 person answering the phone?

My husband is a resident at Northlea Court Care home suffering from advanced dementia and requiring full nursing care. During his 7 months there, I have seen the poor communication between doctors at the Brockwell Centre and the care home. Everything takes too long to happen, from a visit to the care home to see the patient, a prescription being issued, then making its way to the pharmacy and on to the care home. I have seen this take seven days! The situation appears to be worse now that the surgery has moved to the Cramlington hospital area. It is not good enough when a good standard of care is needed for the elderly, to make their lives comfortable near the end.

What a terrible practice! Request after request to speak to a doctor. Waiting in all day for a phone call. No response. 4 weeks after the initial request and the doctor has not read any of my online forms and asks me to repeat everything again. I cannot understand how this practice is advertising for new patients when it cannot manage appointments for the ones it has.

On 6/6/24 setup online passwords for reporting system and linked to NHS. Had to Visit new site at Cramlington as would not allow to log on to Anima. Advised issue ling to NHS. 27/6 Same issue went into practice advised would be passed to technical advisor to deal. Still no access 28/6. When you call them normally takes 25 mins to answer. At 0700 if you’re able to get on it takes over 20 minutes to complete Anima and send a request. This is age discrimination as old people have no access to computers etc

The NHS online app doesn't work and getting through on the phone e was an absolute nightmare. Spoke to a member er of staff who wouldn't take my Details on the phone. Took my one half hours to find new app and get it to send. This has caused me so much stress. I have decided to change doctors.

The new on line system is absolutely ridiculous, useless, waste of time. More likely is to win the lottery than to get through the phone. It is impossible to get in touch with them, impossible to receive an update or any information you need! I had an appointment. Didn't received any confirmation or reminder of it. Checked the system, absolutely no info about my appointment. Tried to contact through phone.....5 min recorded messages then another 45 min. waiting for someone to pick up.....guess what....nobody did! First opportunity and I'm changing the GP!

The new system is a total failure and trying to get through on the phone line is impossible three times I have tried to make a appointment for a simple blood test twice I have been connected to a practise in Surrey who where very pleasant and helpful (they actually rang me ) when reported this to the Brockwell surgery they just about said I was lying and it was my fault although they did say they would report the problem to there it department we have now been blocked from there system online and are waiting for new passwords would not recommend this surgery in its current format was much better with the old system

The new anima system that this practice uses is appalling. I find it very difficult to get a response and patient requests for a particular practitioner are not recognised. The system has taken over 48 hours to respond to my medical needs and it has been impossible to see the same practitioner with my ongoing problem. I have had to restart the triage multiple times for the same issue when a plan has been put in place. I have been promised multiple call backs that have not occurred. I have a long standing condition which is well documented within my notes however with the new system I am referred to a new practitioner each time I need ongoing treatment and therefore start the triage process again and have to attend the practice for more appointments when it is not required. The app crashes frequently and it is no longer patient centred. There are less secretarial staff within the practice and therefore a referral that should have been sent over 8 days ago is still sitting in an inbox waiting to be process d. Until this app was introduced, I had no problems and could only say positive things about this service and the practitioners. Now I am planning to leave the practice and finding another that values their patients and is more appropriately accessible.

Having been unhappy with Brockwell for a while today just topped it.I rang last Thursday for a call back and today I got a text saying I would get a call on the 25th. That is 2 weeks. Totally unacceptable. Trying to get through on the phone is hopeless and the new online system just doesn't work. I have been with this practice for nearly 50 years but no more. I am moving to another practice as are many other people. Do you not get it that something is wrong. Just read your reviews. Brockwell must be the worst in the area. Never hear a good word about them. It's time you listened to your patients. We are all sick of the bad service which is why so many of us are voting with our feet.
