Review titled Kind and friendly staff
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 25 September 2023
The receptionists were so polite and friendly when I was feeling at my worst which made the whole situation feel better. They were happy to answer all of my (what I deemed silly questions) with a smile and warmth. And the doctor was so lovely too as she helped me. Needless to say if I'm ever in need again I would not hesitate to go to this walk in centre again.

Review titled Incredibly valuable service
Rated 5 stars out of 5

Thank goodness for the Brighton Walk-in Health Centre! I honestly don’t know what I would have done without it this summer. I h had to visit twice over the last few weeks, the first time after a call to 111. Both occasions were at the weekend with issues that could not wait till Monday. The alternative would have been the very busy and overstretched A and E Department. All the staff at the Walk-in Centre were highly professional and extremely helpful. Excellent and much needed service. Thank you.

I have extreme back pain and my doctor would not see me I had to call the following morning and attempt to make an appointment I am in so much pain and thankfully the walk in service was there to help Understandably they could not write prescriptions for serious pain meds but they did what they could Which was better and far more compassionate than my GP

I got good reception, kind guidance on what to do and received professional service . I was given good post service guidance and adequate counseling. I did not wait long to receive attention to address the deep cut on a finger. Very considerate and kind team.

Excellent service, my child had an accident on the seafront, we walked in and they saw us within 45 minutes without having an appointment and they were busy.

Review titled Great practice

I was seen by a doctor within the hour. The receptionist was very helpful. The alternative would have been a 3 week wait for an appointment at my registered practice. The infection I have couldn’t wait that long. It shouldn’t have to be like this. Without this clinic I would have had to go to A and E.

I had to wait a couple of hours at the walk in centre but it was worth to be able to access a doctor who was empathetic and helpful, giving me a prescription for my problem. Waiting area was clean and tidy

Review titled Good service shouldn’t be needed the way I accessed it
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I was told by my own gp that I could have a phone call a full week away from when I needed an appointment and if I needed anything else I should go to the walk in centre. So I went to the walk in centre at this gp practice and was seen by a doctor within an hour who prescribed emergency antibiotics while I waited to see my own gp. Great that we have this facility but we shouldn’t be in a situation of having to use it because you can’t see your own gp.

Review titled Excellent service
Rated 5 stars out of 5

It was a busy time and I did have to wait nearly three hours. I was advised that this would be the case and it was slightly shorter than the original estimate. Receptionists were very polite and the doctor was excellent. I didn’t feel rushed as I usually do at my own practice. It was important to get antibiotics as soon as possible and by using this surgery I have a 48 hour head start. Recommended!
