I attended the flu vaccination clinic on saturday 12th oct. I must just congratulate the surgery on the brilliant way it was organised, no queues it was excellent. Well done Bridgemary medical centre.

Today I rang the surgery for an on the day appointment, after being 11 in the que was told by the receptionist i needed to complete an e consult? well we all know what these do.. well did one anyway and low and behold it told me to ring the surgery, so rang the surgery again 9 in the que got down to the last one and it just rang and rang no answer after 6 minutes, so rang again just after 2pm and surprise same thing got down to the last one and it just rang and rang... I get surgeries are busy but the e consult is a complete waste of time even though you enter all the details.. and then to be ignored on the phone not just once but twice this is utter rubbish.. I'm now going to have to ring 111 as i have pain in the lower region which could be serious so need advise, not happy at all

This is a thankyou message for our Nurse Practitioner, who passed on some very welcome good news of my blood test. I couldn't answer her text message, so I thought this was the best way of passing on my thanks.

Today is Thursday I have had no response from the surgery all week, after submitting a e-consult request on Monday. My symptoms have gotten worst, I was on hold today for over an hour, whilst on hold I walked to the surgery. The receptionist added me to the list, whilst in the surgery a doctor popped out and dealt with me there and then. I couldn't believe how easy and quickly i was helped. Thank you for the doctor who listened and took steps to resolve my medical problem. Thank you to the receptionist who managed me in person. What is sad, is that there is no dignity in having to share my embarrassing symptoms in the reception area and that i had to walk to the surgery to get help. Thankfully I am able to do so.

Had my cervical screening appointment, the nurse was great and made me feel really comfortable. Ran through very helpful information and made sure I was happy with everything. I was initially worried before the appointment but afterwards everything was great and handled so well.

I emailed bmc about having verrucas removed. I was eventually emailed back and told to call to book a time to have them treated. The receptionist (after 15 minutes of waiting on the phone, which I'm tempted to bill them for) she had no knowledge of the email (despite it coming from the reception), she had no knowledge of if the treatment was available on the NHS and could not book an appointment of any kind because their system basically demands a £15 phone call of a morning, half an hour of getting angry and prayer. I know it's a cliche to criticise surgery receptionists but good lord, what an utter waste of time.

After a misunderstanding on my part and then being misinformed. I spoke to a receptionist this evening who was very helpful and understanding. These are trying times and frustrating for many of us. But I got to speak to someone who helped and gave me the telephone appointment I wanted. Thank you
