I had a telephone call booked from my doctor this morning, it took 2weeks to book this call, unfortunately I missed the call, I tried to phone back immediately but it took ages before I could get through. Receptionist sent a note through to the doctor that I would appreciate she tried again as I really needed to speak to her. Unfortunately she didn’t call back, I have now tried to get another call booked from her only to be told she has no appointments for the next few weeks and is then on holiday, which of course she is entitled too. So because I missed her one call I am now having to wait at least a month. The time is approx for these calls and I did try to have my phone with me but missed this call.

Had telephone appointment which occurred at time promised, but I had had to wait 3 weeks from first contact to get this, despite having been asked by the surgery to make an appointment to discuss test results. Dr was courteous, efficient , knowledgeable, honest and helpful, having listened to a rather complex set of issues. She appeared open to discussion where appropriate despite her busy schedule. I am left relieved and reassured to have a plan for the way forward but unhappy about the delay in getting an appointment which seems to have become the norm. The delay meant some of the test results were less relevant as well adding to my anxiety.

Due to the nature of my problem, I visited the practice to make an appointment and was met with a very helpful, accommodating and friendly receptionist. This was followed by a punctual phone call from the GP and wheels were put in motion immediately. I have always had the most accommodating, helpful and friendly response from all the reception staff and I thank them for being so.

Went for a routine (health check) blood test on 24 July. The nurse was, as ever, brilliant. She told me to make I phoned for the results around a week later. The results came through to my NHS app but were a series of acronyms with numbers, so were unintelligible. I phoned for the results but was told there had been a delay at Southampton. I phoned again a couple of weeks later (at least a week after the results were sent to me) and was told the Dr hadn’t reviewed them. I was also told if there was anything to worry about, I would have heard. Separately from this (does not affect my rating) I have had a text today with a link to verify my weight and height. When I click on the link, a message comes up “sorry Practice no longer subscribes to this service”. This may be a scam, but it is concerning whether a scam or not

I saw a lovely nurse for my blood test, she was very friendly chatty and looked as if she really enjoyed her work. Extremely professional, an all round good experience. I would also like to add that the receptionist was friendly and very approachable.

I was able to get a steroid injection at the surgery as opposed to waiting for orthopaedic choice and having to travel a considerable distance. The doctor was punctual, professional and very considerate and administered the knee injection with minimal discomfort and was amazingly effective at distracting you from the injection. Thank you!
