I went online at 8am today to get advice for a UTI I have within an hour I had a call from the doctor and an antibiotic prescription put into the pharmacy excellent service.

As I’ve had reason to contact my doctor on several occasions just recently (for monitoring of a change in medication) I’ve appreciated the benefits of now being able to check my tests results via the NHS App, then request a further appointment should I require one. It has thus proved possible to see a doctor almost immediately, leading to less stress and greater efficiency. Much appreciated!

Do not use blackheath standard surgery, I have been dealing with absolute clinical negligence for the last 6 months. From both the reception and 3 yes not 1 not 2 but 3 of the doctors. I have had a horrible lump for the last 6 months painful and growing that absolutely no one at this GP has taken seriously. They have continuously booked me into the wrong hospital for a review this has now happened 3 times. The reception staff failed to communicate with me that one of the referrals was not accepted and instead had me chasing them for a whole 2 months to ask what is going on only for me to be told by one of their doctors that it had been rejected and the staff should have told me. 6 months later they have once again booked me wrong this is now another hospital that has rejected their referral and literally stated they have done this wrong and they should know what they are doing. Do not use this gp I would rate their service 2/10 In addition do not believe them about triage form, in the month of September I left 6 triage forms and was never called once again I had to do the chasing Honestly the worst nhs service I have ever received in my life

There were 5 issues that I wanted to discuss but I realised that all these wouldn't fit into one session. So the doctor said we would take 2 at this appointment and another 2 later I had a total of 3 sessions with him at weekly intervals and each time he was very pleasant, intrested and informative. He had discussed one complex problem with colleagues. This is what primary care is supposed to be like but all too often one hears that it isn't. I count myself fortunate.

After my online request, in a short time the doctor called me about my son's case, investigating the reason and referring me to the pharmacy for his medicine. It was so quickly!

Doctor very thorough and pleasing. Very nice manner listened intently. Arranged a follow up phone call to discuss results of blood test and or any other problems I may have.

The whole practice is effecient and thorough, including the nurses and receptionists. I feel looked after and all the staff are polite and pleasant. Prescriptions are sent to our local pharmacy and blood tests are booked if necessary. My recent phone call from the surgery today was excellent as the doctor rang me only an hour after I requested advice online. He asked appropriate questions and prescribed antibiotics. He also booked in a blood test, including a fasting diabetic one. He advised me to seek help if I get worse.

Booked an appointment via the app to see a Doctor, about an hour or so later the doctor phoned me and took some more information and I was then booked in for an appointment, I hope it works like this all the time,

Very efficient practice and easy to use the apps .. I have logged on a few times in the last month and every time the doctor has rang me back and spoke with me .. he has reassured me and helped me .. he has been absolutely brilliant.. and I’m very thankful for his prompt responses! This system worried me at first as I’m not very good with computer related things .. but have found it straightforward and easy to use . Definitely a big thumbs up from me .
