I was worried about a change in a mole on my back so I visited the surgery where I was told a doctor would be in touch. Within half an hour I had spoken to a doctor by phone and an hour later I had been seen. Fortunately the change is benign. To be seen so quickly is fantastic. Thank you very much.

I have been going to this surgery for roughly 10 years and I have never been so upset with the customer service I have received. The receptionist was dismissive and rude. I have called the surgery the last 3 days to get an appointment with the doctor as I have been struggling to eat, drink, sleep and even sometimes talk and breathe due to swollen tonsils. Each day I have been told all call back appointments have been taken and to call again tomorrow. Today I called and didn’t get an answer so requested a call back. As that took a while, I called back again and was then added to the queue of callers. As I was in the queue of callers, I also received a call back from the receptionist. I left the queue to answer the call back. After answering the phone, the receptionist told me there were no more appointments and was told “well that will happen if you request a call back instead of waiting in line” in a rude tone. I let her know that I was actually in the queue when she called. She then responded with “well that’s quite selfish to be trying to get through to us two ways isn’t it”. I was appalled with this comment. Considering I have been trying to get through for the last three days, I do not think trying to get into contact with them two different ways is so wrong. This receptionist has always been standoffish and hardly accommodating but today she was also dismissive and disrespectful, leaving me yet again without the correct treatment. I now have to leave the city without treatment as I have planned to go away. I am severely upset and will be changing GPs as this is not the future service I would like.
