    In the last 18months Birchington Medical Centre has improved out of all recognition from how it used to be in the last 10 years. Compared to what friends tell me who live in different areas, it is unusually efficient.

    I had to request an econsult online then wait almost a week for a phone call from a GP. The phone call concluded that my child needs to be seen face to face but an appointment is not available for two weeks. In total a three week wait for a child to be seen. In addition I gave the surgery my new mobile phone number last July but was rudely told that it wasn't included on my child's records and that I hadn't requested contact be made on this number (I filled in the form asking for an email confirming when the appointment was made but supplied my phone number for the consultation itself)

    I had a blood test last week and got a phone message yesterday to say the doctor will phone me on the 24th of this month but I called back to say I would be abroad until the end of the month, the staff was very helpful and got the doctor to call me today, so thank you.

    My G P listened, discussed issues, Gave me further tests appointment . Which was appropriate for my ailments. Excellent understanding of my overall self, thank you.

    Only went to have bp blood test and flu jab with the nurse . Although I have to go to the hospital for blood tests which is normal for me , I wasn’t expecting to wait 3 weeks for a telephone consultation about my results, not sure if this is normal with this practice…

    The appointment was for the nurse to take blood for testing liver and kidney functions, blood pressure and weight were also recorded. There was a 5 minute delay for the appointment, but otherwise everything else was first class. I do find it odd that an appointment with the nurse for this procedure was arranged without delay, but GP appoinments are very difficult to secure.

    Staff pleasant and understanding of my enquiry. A change to a telephone consultation sent by a GP regarding Blood test results. 26.01.23 3-6pm. This conflicted with a post/op Consultant appt at Buckland Hospital. Dover. But I was told to phone on Friday 20th Jan to reorganise the appt. The Phone system offers a cancellation button to record name and the appt date but it seems not the facility to change appt. I assume if you need to do this you join the queue for an appt hence my visit. I felt fobbed off and still have to do more phone work to alter an appt.

    Initially had a telephone appointment, was asked to come to the surgery. Had a time slot booked, surgery was empty but doctor was still late in seeing me, ???
