    I have been trying to get a non-urgent appt for weeks now. The E-consult is saying to try the next day each time I go to use it, and there are no pre-bookable telephone appts. The receptionist has said I have to ring or turn up at 8.30am to maybe get an appt on the day. This is very hard to do as I am working, and it seems wrong to take an appt that might have been given to someone who is needing one urgently. The practice website should be clear and honest about the fact that the E-consult is switched off (what the receptionist told me), and that pre-bookable appts aren't available either. Whilst I'm sure all the staff are working as hard as they can, this really is an unacceptably poor level of service at the moment and puts patients health at risk.

    I saw the mental health lady there who was so sweet and caring. I have struggled with depression for a long time now and never really spoke about it. This young lady was really kind and I got so upset speaking about my mental health but she made me feel listened to, she even made sure I was calm and okay before I left. Really thankful for her advice and she even made me laugh for the first time in a very long time!

    I have been with this practice for 31 years and I'm afraid to say it is now a very poor service to what it was. You Can Not make an appointment to see a GP you have to ring in at 8am in the morning and trust me you will be trying for 2days to get through to be told sorry no appointments available. After trying to phone in I decided to go to the reception in person only to be told please ring in in the morning at 8 am . After explaining that IV been trying for several days the receptionist said come in to the practice at 8.30 to make an appointment for that day. Then hopefully we can get an appointment for 2 pm or something . So you now have to go home again and come back later if you were lucky enough to get an appointment in the first place. All this said I am not after an emergency appointment I need to see the GP to catch up on my scans from the hospital and arrange medication etc. Why on earth can we not make a simple appointment . Very poor service to try to get and see a gp We have several members of the family at this practice and all have experience this same problem. Time and time again. This is why I decided to right this

    I phoned early afternoon and talked to a very helpful receptionist. She arranged an appointment for me the same afternoon. Then the doctor I saw was also very caring and talked over a treatment plan.

    Submitted an E-Consult on a Wednesday around half 8. No response. Submitted another one on Monday, again nothing. Then received a text saying they had called me three times which is odd as I hadn’t received anything on my phone. I then called to check as they still hadn’t responded to my query. Was waiting for 45 minutes just to receive awful customer service, was spoken to like they didn’t care or wasn’t even bothered

    There is so much bad press for the NHS lately, I felt that it was important to jump on here and leave a review about our local surgery and the exemplary service that they provide to our community. I have two examples from the last week. I have been suffering with an ongoing issue for the past 6 weeks or so, I had left it for as long as I could so I decided to put in an e-consult; I did this at around 5pm on a Monday evening, I then received a phone call at about 5:20pm and was offered an appointment with a Dr that same evening at 6pm. I was prescribed the appropriate medication and now, a week later, I am feeling much better. Another example, my young son became unwell, I spoke to Reception this morning at 08:30am and was offered an appointment at 09:30am. I literally cannot fault this surgery, they have always been there when we have needed them and I have never struggled to get an appointment. I want to say a big thank you to all of the staff at Bersted Green Surgey, keep doing what you are doing - you are fantastic :)

    I have a number of ongoing medical conditions and always receive excellent care from this surgery. The whole team, Doctors, Nurses, Paramedic and Reception team are fantastic. Working very hard under pressure and delivering very well. Really love the econsult facility as it often saves a trip to the surgery and allows me to put my thoughts in order when explaining the problem. The Doctors I have found to be caring and really listen to the problem, they have come up with excellent solutions for me without any time wasting - a quality I value! I have found them professional, kind and courteous. 10/10 everyone
