It has become impossible to get an appointment. If you are on the phone no 20 in a queue, you know you won't get an appointment. If you are at 8am on the phone and no 9 in the queue- 25 min later you're told- no apps left!!! So how do I get help if in 3 weeks I have been unable to get an appointment? It's so frustrating that it has become impossible to access GP servises at this surgery. And the following questions are so cheeky- were you happy to get through to surgery on the phone? Were you happy to get an appointment? My question is- when will I get my appointment?

Dear Patient We are currently experiencing increased demand on our telephone lines and our patient services team has been working very hard to answer calls under the additional pressure. The increased demand has resulted in some significant wait times, and we continue to recruit additional staff to handle these calls. I recognise that difficulties in accessing the Practice can be extremely frustrating for our patients and I apologise unreservedly for any upset or inconvenience. Unfortunately we only have a limited number of appointments to offer patients on a daily basis and are unable to offer them to patients when we have reached capacity. In this circumstance you may be directed to an alternate service such as a walk in centre or NHS 111. Please be assured that our clinicians are working to their full capacity and the Practice sees as many patients as it is safe to do so. Again I am very sorry that you have been struggling to access our services. Kind regards Patient Experience Officer

Since the merging with Modality Lewisham,the Bellingham Green Surgery,became a non accessible practice. Long hours waiting n the phone for a receptionist to ask you questions then no any available appointments; no any possible alternatives to contact such as eConsult on at the GP practice as before. I am vert disappointed and really sorry to be in the catchment area.
